This is the first course in Coach Simpson's system. His materials for the Shotgun Wing T, Gun T System, can be found on his website: FBCoachsimpson.com
@@kennysimpson6282 you mention in the video that you’ll have an entire video on QB play, for example. Are these in your OC academy? Or will they be follow up videos?
Coach, I have seen all yoru stuff on youtube. I have always run UC but this is very interesting. My question is What do you run to the non Y wing side? Belly is normally a weak side play so what do you run weakside? besides the counter?
Any suggestions for how to simplify for A) 5th grade, and B) even more simple for 3rd/4th grade. Obviously, fewer sets, less pulling and less passing, but anything else?
Usually we would limit reads for the QB, limit formations and may limit or eliminate pulling depending on the age. But other than that we see what they can do.
@@camdencapps6894 I'm a big fan of Gus as well - this is a bit more Wing T Flavor than him with some Noel Mazzone as well as a bit of Tony Franklin. Those were coaches I studied coming up.
Outstanding! great work Kenny!
Thank you!
Very helpful. Thanks Coach
Thanks for checking it out.

We run quick belly, jet and counter
If you swap your tackles how to you keep the defense from keying on your run
We attempt to have equal number of running plays to the strong and the quick side.
Hey Coach, at 21:40, with regard to your strong tackle. - Down Blocking ??
Down block for us is the first player inside

I’ve always heard gun T has less misdirection than traditional under center wing t is this true in your opinion?
I’d think it is a little less. But the RPO opportunities make it tough
Is this just a simplified version of the Gus Malzhan offense?
No hate I love the Malzhan offense

Coach can this work in a 6A level?
There are several running this across the country that are winning at all levels.
Would this work with 10u/12u kids? Or tailored more to older kids?
Try it and don't let anyone tell you that you can't
I was on a coaching staff that ran this offense on a 8U team (2023 season). We went undeated and won the superbowl.
@@AntAntLany suggestions on how you simplified/tweaked it?
Where is the install?
There are several available to watch on my site - FBCoachsimpson.com/downloads
