This is my 2nd year being a head coach of a 3rd and 4th grade football team and I watch every video that comes available on UA-cam ! Thanks for the refreshed and new advice
Just got my roster this morning. Today is my first day as a head coach for grandsons team. Kids are 10-12 yrs old, not much talent but tons of heart. Your video gave me the basics to getting started. Your instructions are invaluable and I’m sure all us first time head coaches appreciate you!!!
Thank you so very much for this extremely informative message regarding coaching youth. This is my first year coaching as an Assistant Football Coach for the 10u age group. This video has been extremely helpful, which I will make sure to implement these tips in addition to what has already been put in place. I absolutely love this video and absolutely love coaching football.
Thanks for taking the time to make this tutorial! I'm coaching for the first time for my young nephew's football team and this was one of the best videos I've seen so far!
Middle school air raid mix with some beast and dw motivation scheme practice plans read defense have plays that beat blitz always prepare for the unexpected focus on o line make sure you have good practice plans have good assistant coaches that followed your plays know you got basic it’s about 700 more different things it will take years to learn it all coach you spot on with this and last system is what win and keep away from assisting coaches that want your spot it fuck up your hole season
Share a link to a video of the Beast formation? Lots of formations can be great for any level! Just be sure to focus on being really stinking good at the basics
what do you suggest doing with the rest of the players, while your installing the offense or defense all together. i have 45 players, so even if i set up a mock defense while installing offense, i still have 23 players to account for. what are your thoughts? thank you
I would ask what you mean by "install"? I would run the practice just as suggested in the video. for example, day 1 would focus on 1 play. We would run it in our frames, in our POAs, and when it came to Team time, I would put the kids into huddles and run that 1 play on air. group 1 then group 2 and so on. As the year progresses and you start to need time for your Starters to get more reps, then you have your #1 group, and your #2s hold bags as a defense for them. Your #3s and 4s then go to the other side of the field and run the plays on air for their team time. You could give that other group of 3s and 4s a name like "Future Stars".

Had a team of 15 kids and only 6-7 were worthy ball players last season was a disaster but I’m hoping we can make a change
6-7 is a high ass number lol. Just make the rest of them tough, and you'll be fine

What is that giant “tack”thing they’re tackling called ?
I don't actually know. You'll just have to take to Google!
Hi coach, is the Beast formation any good for youth football?

run the "T"
I’m coaching midget football level. But we only have 14 kids and no weight limit this year. What kind of offense do you recommend we try???
Without a doubt, Double Wing! ua-cam.com/video/0tL21RH0EX8/v-deo.html
