I was listening to this, while laying in my bed. The sound of the music very relaxing, specially because most of them are nice and not loud. The notes, boucing from my headphones to my ears, helping me to sleep... And then there was Dragon Root Island
This is tough because a lot of these themes are repeated throughout the series, and the only way to tell them apart is the instrumentation. So like Aghanim’s and Ganondorf’s theme sound the same on piano. And there’s a dungeon in LA that has the the same melody as the LoZ Dungeon so they also sound identical on piano
Ooh yeah the Color Dungeon. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference until the second half of that theme (as it didn't appear in the original theme).
Yeah, Agahnim’s theme Vs. Ganon’s tower, Zelda from OoT vs zelda’s theme from alttp and Fi’s Gratitude Vs Fi’s Farewell all tripped me up. The last one might’ve been my fault but the other two felt kind of cheap. Amazing video and compositions, though.

I agree. It’s very ominous and eerie… especially after you discovered the true nature of Koholint and it’s inhabitants. I feel the music reflects the feelings of Link in that moment…. Somber, scary, mysterious, and tense. You as the player get the feeling that the stakes are now higher, and the dungeon music makes you feel unsure about continuing your quest… For simply being a Gameboy game, it’s surprisingly got a lot of depth to it. Also, the remake on the switch did an awesome job recreating the music! Especially the Face Dungeon 😭😙🤌
@@wisping7843 That's really late game. Not everyone has tons of ancient arrows. Only people who are good at parrying or are really rich (can buy ancient arrows or ancient shield) can not be scared of guardians.
If you do not fear it you are someone that doesn't get scared @wisping7843 you are one of very few that aren't scared. Whether you have ancient arrows and an op bow or most people know the terror, the goosebumps, the shiver down your spine when you hear that sound...
I literally have a full inventory of swords and bows, with each doing at minimum 30 damage, can parry approximately 50% of the time, and have an 80 defense armor setup and yet I still fear it when I'm just walking along a road
97/100. Not bad, if I do say so myself. I think it would have been cool if there were songs from other Zelda games, like the Oracles, Minish Cap, the DS Zeldas, etc.
I got 87/100. The main ones that stumped me were Link to the Past, Zelda II, or Link's Awakening, because I only played those games once and/or it was a long long time ago.
I always thought it was weird that Termina field & the Link's Awakening overworld had a rearrangement of the OG overworld theme given that they arent hyrule at all. It just seems odd to use for an alternate world.
The main overworld theme has pretty much been officially Link's theme since SS made it the "Song of the Hero," so I think it makes sense retroactively, especially for LA since it's partially taking place in Link's mind.
I got 75. I’m pretty happy with that, given I haven’t played any zelda games in about two years now. Almost all of the ones I didn’t guess i had recognised, just forgot where or what game they were in lol.
Things I learned from this video. 1, even some of the most recognizable and iconic songs in video game history become difficult to recognize when played on a different instrument. 2, a lot of songs in the series use the series main theme as a motif. 3, Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom's soundtracks so atmospheric that the only one I could tell what specific song it was is the Guardian battle theme.

i’m shocked how well i did, i knew pretty much every main console theme, and if i wasn’t sure of song name for game correct every time! wasn’t sure of which the handheld games where from but got all the handhelds correct as their composition is a little simpler and less recognisable themes
breath of the wild / tears of the kingdom are some of the easiest to stop even if you’re not 100% on the song as pretty much every piece is played much slower than in other zelda games

If you see the Overworld theme as Link's Theme or the Theme of the Spirit of the Hero, he becomes the connecting thread.
