- Guessing Game: The Legend of Zelda. In this new format you hear 15 themes from the series. If you guess the theme before the timer is halfway, you get 2 points. After that, you get a hint. If you guess it after the hint, you will get 1 point. How many of the 30 points can you score?

On that last one, you really have to give Nintendo credit on creating such dissonance to create such a terrifying theme. I've never seen it in this format.

I haven’t even played the game for more than an hour yet, though technically I’ve beaten age of Calamity, but that theme is just so recognizable.

I love how this shines such a light on how anxiety inducing the sound of the guardian theme is. The composers knocked it out of the park making a dissonant, hectic sound when a guardian has you in it’s sights. Really captures that panic you feel.
To be fair, though, not another Boss or Mini Boss (or even really a Battle) Theme is present throughout the rest of the video; if we also had, say, from Ocarina of Time alone, Boss Theme, Mini Boss Theme, King Dodongo Battle, Ganondorf Battle (with its MAGNIFICENT 23/16 metre), and perhaps just the whirling sound of those blasted Peahats, combined with various battle, mini boss, boss, and final boss themes from all the other games, I should like to posit that the Guardian Theme would seem far less of an outlier, no?
I find it really interesting that out of all the mini-boss themes, they made this one the most unnerving one. Whereas the others are more exhilerating or brutish (the Hinox one in particular), this one stands out to me since Link has a heavy connection to them. It's wonderful characterization and storytelling being told through the music
I love how there’s every other song on this list which sounds either friendly, ominous, or exciting and then there’s guardian theme
Och! and all that shows is a strange bias, perhaps, for there are plenty of themes in the other games that might evoke similar feelings, but we simply appear to be lacking them in this video!
I love all of these, I listen to Zelda music every day while I do school. I got all of these before the hint and most of them within 1-3 seconds.
The last one gave me a mini heart attack.
I really love the theme for Deku's Palace. Not sure if it's an underrated theme or not but that theme seriously slaps!
Also I got all but the Link's Awakening one right. I'll admit I didn't play too much LA to know themes from that game lol

Yeah the deku palace is very good theme
everyone recognizes song of healing because you have to play it throughout the game, but everyone recognizes deku palace cuz we all be resetting the 72 hours just to hang around that place again.

Midna's Theme nearly tripped me, and I would've been ashamed if I'd missed that. Midna and Twilight Princess are my favourite character and game in the franchise.
Gerudo Town almost got me too; I recognized it as a BotW town song, but I couldn't tell exactly which one it was 'cause it's been a while since I last played.
You have to admit the child timeline is the darkest though. It has both Majora's Mask AND Twilight Princess.
Somethhing about each games music style makes it easy to recognize which game it from ive noticed,
I got 26/30, Aryll's theme threw me for a bit but I got it after the hint showed. Gerudo Town I thought was Lanayru Desert from Skyward Sword, and I knew the Church theme was from A Link to the Past but it took me a while to realize it was the church.
This video reminds me yet again of JUST how amazing the soundtrack for Zelda has been through the years. Even from the start
Gotta say this was great. Never played through some games in the series (twilight princess hurting me here) but knew every one from games i have played. Good selection of a few easy and few more difficult ones.

While I understand that the Lost Woods theme is the tune from the Lost Woods... I also recognize it as Saria's Song, because Saria teaches it to Young Link, so i don't think that should affect my score, as both names are valid.

Not to be an "AKSHUALLY" guy, but the 2nd one is technically Saria's Song, it's just played in the Lost Woods since that's where you find Saria to learn it 😉

Not to be an “AKSHUALLY” guy, but Saria’s Song is what Link plays on the ocarina (according the the OST), so the second song is clearly the Lost Woods version because it has a bass line

24. All of the ones I got wrong, I knew what game they were, but couldn’t place when they played
26/30! Didn’t get the church at all; I thought Aryll’s was just outset island (albeit slowly) until the hint, and I thought gerudo town was the Goron one until the hint 😅 overall I’m satisfied with my zelda knowledge and it’s amazing that all of us can come together for such an amazing series!
30/30. The starting chords for Midna’s theme threw me a bit, but once the melody began, I got it. Interestingly enough for the Great Sea, I instantly said: “Great Sea from Wind Waker” but then retracted, thinking maybe you’d fool us with the version from Phantom Hourglass. Once the melody kicked in though, I knew it was Wind Waker’s version.
Aryll's theme and Gerudo Village got me

I'll admit it, I got 29 only cause I was thinking of a different Majora's Mask song at first for Deku Palace. When the hint said Royal Family, that's when it clicked for me.

I didn't get the Gerudo Town theme from Breath of the WIld because I don't have that soundtrack memorized very well and I didn't get Mabe Village until I saw the hint that it was in Link's Awakening. Other than that, nailed it!
The hint for the last one could have been "You are about to die"

I almost missed the church! I said Link to the Past before the hint came up saying exactly the same thing, so I gave myself credit for that one haha. The reasoning is you get 1 point if you needed the hint, right?

Got Skyloft, Gerudo Town and Guardian theme correct. I’ve only played BotW and Skyward Sword and those 3 were the only songs from those games so technically I got everything correct
I nailed the ocarina of time ones and the breath of the wild one (because I’ve played thousands of botw) got some of the twilight Princess ones and got all the skyword sword ones yet couldn’t remember the names of the skyword sword ones just what they were for or who they were for
I got 23 points. I missed 8, 11, and 14, and needed the hint for 9.
