I had a hunch you were a former flight attendant ☺..fellow cabin crew here 🙋🏼♀️✈️ . I'm sooo into color analysis & style lately and thought it's such a lovely idea to do on the side maybe some day. You're such an inspiration! Your kind & authentic presentation style makes your videos so much fun to watch. Like the safest style content place on the internet so far! You're taking us places! 🤗
you should definitely do cool toned vs warm toned makeup! you can even do half your face with cool tones and half with warm tones to compare how it looks. or find a warm toned model and swap makeup routines.
It's lovely to see you having so much more fun applying the cool toned makeup colors. And it makes your skin come alive and look so much brighter. I hope you had a wonderful time at the festival.
@@sarahryanthestylecoach So sorry you weren't able to make the festival, but you would have looked great. By the way, you definitely underrate your makeup skills!
I know you're not trying to show makeup techniques here, but seeing you NOT bring your crease color down all the way on the outer edge was very helpful for me. My eyes are also somewhat hooded, and every time I try to do my eye makeup, it looks like I've smeared it down BELOW the outer edge of my eye, which looks messy and pulls my eyes downward. I couldn't figure out what to do, but I'll try your method.
That looks so nice. I am a cool winter myself (I think) and I love, love the fact that chocolate, deep mauves, dusty pinks and cherry reds work best because I adore these colors. I am sad that I do not have many options when it comes to green, though. The reccomended green for me is teal which I do not really like. The only green I like is the pine green but that seems a little too desaturated for me.
I took pictures with my blushers vs using my cool toned lipstick as blush, and the lipstick version looked so much more fresh and juicy🍉, I was really surprised! It is such an old method but it really looks good, it just melts into the skin in the most beautiful way💖😍 and it kinda autumatically harmonizes, I even dabbed a TINY bit on my eyes, added black liner and it looked really nice💖🥰
Dear Sara, thanks for the video. I agree with guys below about video with warm tones, glad that you liked that idea too. Shall be waiting to that. 😊 I am watching this video and so excited, because you look so beautiful and this colors are perfectly good for you. You are so beautiful even without any makeup and after all the result is gorgeous. Also I've realized recently that i am leaning towards warm undertone but all of my life I've been using warm colors in makeup and i couldn't understanding why I am looking ...not as fresh and nice as you do in these purples and pink tones. This video is truly good example for me how my favorite purples can look. I'm feeling like ...wow! Thank you!❤
I am warm spring. I only wear makeup once a week but do need it for church. I would like to see warm make up on one of your warm undertones clients so that it is flattering.
I am neutral leaning cool. I found at really light shades it doesn't matter as much on the foundation. I'm a winter but love Autumn colors so at war constantly if I buy anything other than black. :) I wear olive but pair with a cool red or green w it. I also use a lot of scarves w my fav colors mixed in so I can get my co.or fix.
Your eyes don't look hooded as you have quite a lot of lid space above your upper lash line... Perhaps you mean your eyes are a bit sloping down, so having too dark on the outer part of your eyes will make them slope even more... But fun to see you in both cool and warm makeup! And you look much better in this cool makeup ☺
WOW!! You say you're not an MUA but I'm honestly thinking about following this like a tutorial for my own makeup next time because I love the way your makeup looks right now!! It's not near as heavy handed as most of them look that do it on UA-cam all the time. I'm also cool toned like you and I love the colors you've used here. So pretty!!!!
This video has been so helpful. I had my colours done some years ago and came out as a 'Gucci Winter' which I think is probably the same as a deep winter. Great to have clear guidance about what makeup will look best on me. We tend to stick to the same things we always wore makeup wise so this has given me clear guidance. I love your videos. Thank you Sarah and Happy Saint Patrick's day on Sunday!
Such a beautiful makeup look! It is a real struggle to find cool toned makeup in the shops, especially for eye shadow and lipstick. Everything is just warm toned, even neutral eye palettes more often lean warm than cool or true neutral. Beyond the cool-warm toned makeup, is there a difference in makeup recommendations for winter vs summer and autumn vs spring?
Yes the intensity and depth of colours would be different for Summer vs Winter. You could also do higher shine and metallics for Winters and more matte looks for Summer :)
Is there such a thing such as a cool red (lipstick)? Would that be the “blue toned” red? I’m a true winter so I’ve stuck to pink lipsticks and they look great on me… wondering which red would suit us Winter ladies… 😅
I'll probably sound stupid but I still have to ask 😄 Do you have any warm days in Ireland, i.e. hot days? Considering that you say it's summer, and you're wearing a sweater while I can barely breathe under the air conditioner because it's been around 40°C here for the last few days. 😟
I am a summer. I wear the color you are wearing in your sweater. Is this a winter color or a summer color or does it work for both? It looks good on you and it also looks good on me.
I am confused - wouldn’t the NW be a warm tone and the NC a cool tone? Can you explain. I was under this impression. You said you are a cool tone but love the NW and disliked the NC???? I am just finding you site know so I apologize if this comment has already been addressed. Thanks.
I'm confused (easily done). I thought in the names of foundations W is for warm, C for cool and N for neutral. But you are cool toned and you say you are wearing W.
How about foundation for cool winter with olive? How do we become happy martinis, help!😂😂🫒🍸 is it helpful to mix a drop of light purple, green or blue into the foundation for example, in your experience..? I have color correctors in those colors. P.S. LOVE that Sezane cardigan on you, it looks sooo beautiful and harmonious! 😍 I cannot afford that particular one, but I’ll definetly try something in that color, since I’m a cool winter it should work🤓

I like that idea.
Oooh that's a good idea! :)
"My mom says I'm cool, joking. She never says that " Imperfect quote but I lold
Haha comedy is not in my future! I'll stick to my day job lol
It's lovely to see you having so much more fun applying the cool toned makeup colors. And it makes your skin come alive and look so much brighter. I hope you had a wonderful time at the festival.
Thank you so much! I never made it to the festival, I was too tired 😅
@@sarahryanthestylecoach So sorry you weren't able to make the festival, but you would have looked great. By the way, you definitely underrate your makeup skills!
I would like to see warm tones as well.
Ok, I will do this in the coming weeks :)
I think you can tell more with makeup if you are warm or cool than clothes!
Yes sometimes that's the case :)

You look so beautiful in the cool pallette! Love the soft purple.
Thank you!
Thank you, yes please do warm toned makeup
Did you manage to catch the warm tone video?
Yes, we want also a warm toned make up, please!❤
Ok :) I'll do it! Watch this space!
Great video, your final look is beautiful, really complimentary. Made me reconsider my makeup choices.
Love to hear this! Enjoy the experimenting! Thanks for watching!
I would love a video with the warm colored makeup to compare :)
Ok watch this space!
Darker above the crease. Good advice. I'm getting older, so crease is there, but raising it is genius. 🍀
Thank you!

I started at ur warm video. And was like its not awful. Abd then i came here. Wooowwww. Night and day 😅 you look soo fresshh and balanced

Thanks Mary. I will see what I can do but many of my clients do not want to be on UA-cam which is understandable :)
Lovely makeup- the blush looked so fun for the festival
Thank you so much!
learned so much ty!
I have hooded eyes as well

I guess you probably look good in a lot of the autumn colours too if you are neutral cool ☺️

I have oily skin and once I got a brush for foundation, it made a huge difference in not clogging my pores.
Great tip! Thank you!

Perhaps you could do the warm tones on a friend if you feel too uncomfortable
Great video.
Thank you! As I am not a make up artist I will just try it on myself, still useful to see the difference :)

Yes look out for blue toned reds or ask at a counter. It makes a big difference! :)
Beautiful! What is the shade name of that mac blush? 😊
It was a limited edition unfortunately :(
I think she listed the name as Blossom in another response.
Thank you x
youre beautiful with no makeup.. not surprised as well you got so good at this due to your profession, ive heard that before. x ty
Thank you so much!!
Beautiful 😍
Thank you! 😊
I would love to see a warm toned look on you to see how it is wrong and what it does to your face.
Look out for this video on Sunday :)
Stunning!!!!!
Thank you!!
links to products would be helpful. You are one of the few color analysts who will see that you can be blonde and winter.
Hi. Please can you let me know the shade of the Mac blusher you used. Many thanks
Hi it was a limited edition called Blossom :)
I have an olive cast to my skin but look OK in warm and cool colours, it's confusing 😊
People can look OK in most colours but what we are striving for is to look our best in our colours ;)
Where is your necklace from . ❤ great video
My necklace is from Betty and Biddy :) Thanks for watching!
What is the name of the blush from Mac? Thank you
It was discontinued a long time ago!
Great video! I absolutely love your content
So the undertone can be cool or warm and the overtone is fair/light/medium/medium deep/dark :)
Can you link the eye shadow palette?
I've linked a similar one in the description. I think maybe the one I am using was discontinued :)
What is cabin crew? As in on a ship? You are amazing by the way. Love your channel

I have brown mascara and it makes my turquoise eyes pop.

Both! The common feature is its coolness ☺️
Could you tell me the name of the Mac blush.
It was a limited edition called Blossom :)
How can u do bronzer for cool tone????
Use a cool bronzer 😀
Hi. What was the name of your blush please
It was limited edition I'm afraid!

I have a video coming up soon that clears this up! I hope it helps!
She said NW20. Mac's NW is cool and NC is warm.
NW20? I think that stands for neutral warm and not cool
It’s cool ☺️
No need to answer I am scrolling the comments and see that someone else mentioned this.
