I don't worry about how long a video is as long as it's giving good information and not just rambling on and on about something. This video was awesome! I've ordered quite a lot of supplies, so I haven't really started lettering yet. I'm learning as much as I can and taking notes. Thank you for all of the information you gave about using watercolors. It will prevent me from buying things that I really don't need to start out with. I also got to see you using the different pens and watercolors so I could see what might not work for me or has a longer learning curve. I really appreciate all of the information.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS! I find watercolour lettering so addictive and much more accessible than brush lettering (I already have so many cheap and great watercolour pans and there's much less temptation to buy expensive brush pens). More please! Maybe on blending with watercolours?
This was amazingly helpful and you are so generous with your knowledge. I watched the whole thing easily especially listening to your wonderful narration
ive been trying to get watercolors to do watercolor calligraphy for the past few months and it was such an amazing coincidence that you uploaded this video :)
Hello! I have been trying to understand hand lettering better and you have really helped me! My glass dip pen will be here in the morning along with some watercolors! You have inspired me so much!! Thank you for the amazing videos!! Keep going you are doing so so so good!!!
I've been using your brush lettering templates from Etsy for a little over a month now and yesterday I just did my first connected letters & words! You've really helped me find a new and amazing hobby, I love watching your videos no matter how long! :D
So appreciate the video, don't mind any length you choose to put up! I appreciate the encouragement--I've been wanting to give watercolor lettering a try--thanks for the inspo to take the plunge!
This really isn't a long video for the amount of information you gave :) The tip to not stick to the whole flow of the letter is something I never thought of before though - its almost like you're drawing a picture of hte letter rather than lettering it strictly :D
Thanks for your video! Super helpful in knowing what I can try! I have used Prang watercolor pan as a beginner and it's great. Cheap and not chalky but nice and workable and good colors on the 16 color set! :-)
Your video has been the most approachable watercolor/lettering video ive found so far and it's been really helpful! How do you clean a pad for the tray-based watercolor? I ended up messing up my white like the first thing in using it, and i'm afraid of how much I scraped out trying to clean it with a paper towel.
Sometimes you're using loops for b,d,h,k,l and t but sometimes you aren't. Does it mean they are different lettering styles? If they are different can you make a video of both lettering styles(full alphabet with loops and without loops)
Hey! Really awesome video as usual and I loved the longer content. Very informative! Just a question, what’s the last palette you used to write Hello at the end?
thanks for the video! when my aquash brush starts to get dry, i try to squeeze it gently but it doesn't seem to work so i have to squeeze a few times but then it becomes too wet and i have to dry it off on tissue. is that normal? if that makes sense
lol i usually find myself turning this on while i eat breakfast or something 😂 we finished at the same time.. if people don’t like it well then who cares if they really wanted to know more they would find time to watch the video.. i’m surprised though you didn’t do water color markers...
evelyn aw that’s so fun! I usually watch UA-cam while I clean & do the dishes so I guess in those times I appreciate the long videos! I actually have a watercolor brush marker review coming this week :) I did a poll on my IG stories between the two and this one won first but that one will be coming!
I've noticed that with certain colors (like the light pink - my favorite!). You could try using a smaller brush and less water and see if it won't be as noticeable as it is on bigger letters/strokes. I think almost every new watercolor product I've gotten has come with a learning curve so don't get too discouraged! Thanks for watching!
Loved every minute. Thank you. ;)

Great tips! Could you do a part 2 of watercolor lettering? I want to learn but it feels so difficult!
Julia Uemura yes! Do you have specific questions/struggles that would be helpful to talk about? Thanks for watching!
I guess I have difficulties in some letters like X, S, F and K.
Great and perfect for what I wanted to know! Thanks.
Can you do a review on the Sakura koi coloring brush markers? I love your videos
I love your long videos!!:)
Yes! I have those but I don't use them often! I need to get them back out though! Thanks for watching!
Yes. Thank you so much! I was wondering if it was worth buying since I have seen other letterers use it. 😀
Thanks so much! I feel like I can breakout my Artist Loft pan and water brush, after getting frustrated over a year ago and try again 🤣😂.
Ah! I hope it works for you! Thanks for watching!
Amazing!
where did you get your little droplet?
Do you have any tips for left handed people who want to watercolor letter?

Hii pls translate i cant speak english im hungary: mennyi ido volt ezt begyakorolni. Elore koszi a valaszt❤️❤️🥺
I didn’t have much luck with Artists Loft. It was chalky. Probably because I didn’t use it correctly

How to Hand Letter I’m definitely digging them out to give them a try again. Thanks for your video!!!
Who was this Emily, you referred to?
Sorry! I forgot to link her! She is on Instagram @sizeloveletterco! Thanks for the reminder!
Just watching it because my brush pens are frayed and unfortunately we're in lockdown 🙄
