Which one among them has a better display in terms of colors and picture quality? And which one will be better for watching movies? ( not considering the display size)
For pure display quality, the Xiaomi Pad 6 has the edge, reasons: 1, Higher resolution: Despite being slightly smaller, the Pad 6's 11-inch display boasts a 2.8K resolution, resulting in a sharper image (309 pixels per inch) compared to the Redmi Pad Pro's 2.5K resolution on a 12.1-inch screen (249 pixels per inch). 2, Smoother motion: The Pad 6 supports MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation), a technology that smooths out motion in videos, making action scenes and sports look more fluid. This can significantly enhance the movie-watching experience. For watching movies, the Xiaomi Pad 6 is likely the better choice. The sharper image and smoother motion processing will result in a more enjoyable viewing experience, especially for action-packed or fast-paced films. While the Redmi Pad Pro's higher brightness is a plus, it's not as crucial for indoor movie watching.
@MrGadget7 thanks for the reply. And on specs pad6 has a 10 bit display and redmi pad pro has a 12 bit display so which one has better colour reproduction according to your experience? which among them shows vibrant and punchy colors ? And on the video a bluish tint is noticeable on redmi pad pro display .
Yes, you are right Redmi has 12-bit , but I didn't even noticed difference when comparing them, maybe for photo/video work it can make difference, but not for watching movies as most of them are 10bit.
For video editing, the Xiaomi Pad 6 is generally the better choice over the Xiaomi Redmi Pad Pro. Here's why: 1, Faster processor: The Xiaomi Pad 6 has a Snapdragon 870 processor, which is more powerful than the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 in the Redmi Pad Pro. This translates to smoother performance when editing videos, especially with higher resolution files. 2, Sharper display: The Xiaomi Pad 6 has a slightly smaller 11-inch display, but it has a higher resolution (2.8K) than the Redmi Pad Pro (2.5K). This means you'll see more detail in your videos while editing. 3, Better storage: The Xiaomi Pad 6 uses faster UFS 3.1 storage, which will make a noticeable difference in loading times and exporting videos compared to the eMMC 5.1 storage in the Redmi Pad Pro.
Hi, for watching video definitely Xiaomi Pad 6 based on below battery life tests: Redmi vs Pad 6 Web browsing 07:10 hr vs 10:22 hr Watching video 11:19 hr vs 14:17 hr Gaming 05:30 hr vs 06:47 hr Standby 149 hr vs 139 hr
@MrGadget7 Thanks for the clarification. 2 questions please. 1)- On a scale of 1 to 10 what score do you give the redmi pad pro for reading text on it? (Clarity, eye strain & sharpness). Is it possible to reduce the blue light in it and make it look like the pad 6? 2)- Have you experienced any blurry images or blurred graphic when playing pubg mobile?
Hi, for photo editing Pad 6 is better, reasons: 1, Superior Display: The Xiaomi Pad 6 boasts an 11-inch IPS LCD with a higher resolution (1800 x 2880 pixels) and a 144Hz refresh rate. This translates to sharper images, smoother scrolling, and a more responsive experience compared to the Poco Pad's 10.61-inch IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate. This is crucial for both detailed photo editing and enjoyable web browsing. 2, Faster Processor: The Xiaomi Pad 6 is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, which outperforms the Poco Pad's Helio G99. This means smoother multitasking, faster app loading, and better performance when editing photos or browsing complex websites. 3, Enhanced Stylus Support: While both tablets support a stylus, the Xiaomi Pad 6 offers lower latency and more precise pressure sensitivity, making it a more refined tool for photo editing. 4, Better Speakers: The Xiaomi Pad 6 has a quad-speaker system, providing a richer and more immersive audio experience, which can be beneficial when reviewing edited photos and videos or consuming multimedia content online.

Different color space 94% (Redmi) vs 97% (Pad6) , 10bit vs 12bit. Other factors can be factory calibration and different color profiles.
