Got mine today, in fact watching this video on my Redmi pad. I love it, great value. Is it perfect? No. Does it do everything I want for a great price? Hell yes!
@@prasadperera9860 Pretty good. A fairly heavy day of downloading, testing functions and using this as a second screen while working from home meant about 6.5 hours of screen on time and 35% of battery remaining. I was in a bright room with the brightness turned up quite high too
@@krzysztofkwietniewski9100 define cons. It is a budget tablet so of course there are compromises. For the price it is great value overall but no one thing is 'perfect'. If you want perfection you need to spend about £1000. What do you want the tablet for and what do you value in a tablet?
i mean, for around 20k-25k INR, you not only get a big screen but decent display, dolby vision, loud and clear enough audio, stylus support, expandable storage, sim support (on the 5g version), 3.5mm jack, good processor (for day to day use generally media consumption and surfing), i think its good for its pricing.
Hey, I see you’re still hunting for a tablet lol. Yeah it wasn’t too bad to be honest. As long as you keep it moderate with the editing. I mean I did notice a bit of lag sometimes when scrubbing through footage but nothing too drastic, and export times are going to be longer than the 6S Pro. But for basic/intermediate editing it suffices 👍
@@typicaltechlad cheers, i actually bought the Samsung Tab s9+ but had to send it back as when I was using capcut, filorma etc for editing and wanting to add media to timeline, it did not recognise the portable SSD i had plugged into the usb port as an extension of the devices internal gallery storage.....the samsung files app recognised it ok but editing apps didnt, its almost like samsung lock down its gallery app not to recognise when external storage is plugged in to view other media files....on my phone (Oppo Find X5) if i plug my ssd into that and i open capcut and go to add media it recognises all the folders on my SSD almost like an extention of the internal gallery. Im hoping that by using a Xiaomi device that its a bit more "open code" like my Oppo phone and can plug my ssd into it and it will recognise it...i basically want to use my SSD as my main working hard drive with all my current media on it so that no matter if i want to use my laptop or tablet for editing everything is in one place. thanks for the reply.
Sir, can you suggest me a tablet for entertainment and online classes (battery 🔋 and display want to be good)also it would be support stylus pen with palm rejection but note making is not important.
Hi, no SIM card slot on this version, but there is a 5G version of the tablet available in certain market/regions (China being the first obviously), not available in the UK at the moment though. Which countries it will be available in remains to be seen
It’s okay, not the smoothest or as smooth as 1080p but you can get it done, bear in mind more effects, animations etc will make it become less responsive (if that’s the right word)
@@typicaltechladDoes this tablet support type-c hub for connecting wired mouse, keyboard, pen drive and ssd? I saw the tab A9 plus support type-c hub, and both Pad Pro and Tab A9 plus have similar type-c 2.0 ports.
Hi, as far as I can see the Redmi Smart Pen is only compatible with the Redmi Pad Pro as per specifications on their website: www.mi.com/uk/product/redmi-smart-pen/specs

I need for study purpose which would you recommend redmi pad pro or Xiaomi pad 6?
Redmi pad pro (xl display)
This is marketed in my country as the poco pad, while the redmi pad SE here is an entry level tablet
Is there a desktop mode via usb to external display?
Nope
Great video !
Nicely demonstrated practically.

how does it perform for video editing?
Got mine last month, i thought stylus pen is included in the purchase as freebies but unfortunately it isn't.
I hate to break it to you but Redmi Pad Pro 2024 will never beat Samsung 98" TV in screen size
🤣
