Only sound I've seen without any Chinese amplifiers in along time😂 sounds good bro keep doing your thing. This shows that you can sound great with what you have and be different not chasing down the hype products. 🔊👍🏾✅️
@@AcidSoundSystem yes there alittle heavy but good wheels solves that, would not do stairs with them though lol. im holding onto my 3600's them they'll be of much value in coming years, no telling what issues these new amplifiers will be about . Respect
Xilica a longtime bad processor outta Canada. This video proves what I tell soundman all the while : less equals MORE in the sound chain. If a man want to use expander, BBE , fine, I don't use them. Look how much headroom the brother has ! Respect boss, thanks for the video
I too have the xillica processor in my rack, yes he not using his efx rack because all that stuff is already in the xillica processor, he is using the eq, crossover ect that's in the xillica 4080.....so in reality he don't need that efx rack.
Yes thats correct The DriveRack® series are a diverse group of processors that provide control of equalization and loudspeaker management. Used and appreciated in every kind ... Blessings
Give thanks for the lesson. It's just like when Adonai (don't remember the spelling) introduced the CD players on a sound system, now everything is on a hard drive. I am sure most sound man no miss the heavy boxes of records. Me personally a old school, I love to see the spectrum analyzer bars on the Eq move up and down but you cant find that again so the nearest thing to it now is the DSP.
Well everything else that he did not connect is just pre stage, the head mixer he is using is one of the best quality mixer so nothing different here plus the processor has equalizer in it .
On pro audio equipment there is usually a reference point of 0db (decibels) . This is called unity gain. This means that there is a balance between input and output within the signal chain - what's going in is balanced w/ what is coming out. Let's say the signal chain is turntable/laptop/ mic into mixer into dsp to amp to speaker - I am keeping it simple. Unity gain - 0db will balance the sound, give us clean, undistorted audio, no feedback. I see PLENTY sound systems running in the red , clipping, and sounding like shit. This is the best way to destroy your equipment. Need more volume ? Buy more amps and speakers
WRONG Mr Scott. That Ashly is an 8 channel line mixer with 3 band eq, no 31 band, no parametric. Ashly DSPs have built in parametric eq, compression, delay, crossover, and limiter, no 31 band. I own 2 of them. The Ashly GQX 3102 is an analog 31 band stereo eq. Ashly 4.24G is a 28 band 4 channel digital eq. Get it straight, please and thanks.
@@ganjafarmer1572 do you have the manual for your unit did you read what it's capable of doing yes it can be used as a matrix mixer and it is a DSP digital signal processor which has graphic eq and parametric , delay and all goodies that come with a (dsp) I can forward you the manual if needed 😉
@@honelescott7802 Thanks, I have my manuals. If you are talking the Protea I don't link multiple units, I don't control them from a laptop using usb or RS 232. I use my ears to tune my system, I built it, there are no factory tunings. I play outside 99% of the time , so using SMART or other software to analyze a room is not an issue.
The red lights are a Crown Macro circuit which monitors output transistors. Crown calls it ODEP, and it works like a limiter. Maybe because of sunlight or camera angle they look lit.

A lot of headroom!
Those amps are straight monsters probably number one in the business
Solid principles in this video! Most sound man dont understand a lot of what was said.

Love how crown play boss
Acid remember a drive is basically all of the above eq,etc in one nothing special going on there bredda. Carry on the works Acid
Wow, loud and clear. Perfect!
Would love to here this sound play

You are absolutely right, infact I am playing my sound right now with just a crown pre amp and a Ashly protea and it sounds amazing
Does it matter if the sample rate is 96khz with 40 bit floating points when in reality what’s going in/out is 41, 48 at most? Just asking.
BLESSING!¡

There no video on UA-cam in English about that prosesser so I guest he can make a video about it
Do some research boss , read the manual : xilica xp 4080. Information is power

What is title of the music brother can i have that hehe

Ah wah di bombohclaaart ya play Chinese music fah? You noh have bass?
It's called versatility...the hardest thing to tune on a sound it the top end..bass is the easy part 👀
Pink noise to tune a sound every tune is mastered different...
Basic Hi-Fi rules quality in ...quality out!! otherwise you are just amplifying a distorted signal
💯💯💯
Well technically the ashly driverack is a DSP wich has parametric eq and 31band eq on all channels so he is using eq of some sought.

Nuff talk let d system talk for it self na...big tune bt d buju mix is better
He keeps adjusting the controls on the amps though
Ok ? He is tuning the sound...don't understand the statement
He is adjusting how much volume is going to the mids and highs it’s the process of tuning the system that you seem not to be very familiar with
Actually he's adjusting the sensitivity of the amps not the volume
Input sensitivity bro...he's adjusting
Your power amp crown is clone it's fake the transformer is circle toroidal
