Not all songs are mixed and mastered optimally my friend. However, I would never use a piece of audio equipment that uses RCA connectors for any professional application.
Yo this is crazy! This is exactly my POV on everything. Yes i love my bass but some people do too much, im in the studio alot so im familiar with certain things. When you add to your sound system it should just be treated like a mastering chaing. These guys going in slamming everything, in mastering your sound you should only make a dew db in movements, these dudes slamming everything messing up the sound that was perfected in the studio. If you listen to these systems they have no dynamic range everyone just wants loud bass and just generally using equipment incorrectly and just messing up a good sound. Dot get it twisted tho, Ive heard a few sounds that sound really really amazing, but again its very few i could probably count them on just on hand. Dont wanna say names and start anything but there are a few sounds that really just understand how signal works and just polished it and their system sounds amazing. All the best to all sound systems! At the end of the day its just fun! 👍
I been saying this for years expanders and all these other things are for music that was recorded back in the days and they Jamaicans use to cuss me and say idk anything about music but yet still they can’t sound close to me with a driverack mixer and amps
I mean I can say if that's your goal quallty. class A amps are boss if you want true quality across your system. But it's very rare I see it. Because alot of ppl don't want to spend that much. Most engineers like different turnings for different situations, and not all genres sound the same. I appreciate the creativity of different engineers yes some sound pretty bad and some sound really good. I like what your saying
All you need now is two drive racks depending on if you want to run it 4 5 way, and even now some amps can do everything when hook up to a laptop. Quality sound is also not loudness like if you want lick out somebody
Agree full 100. I also learned long ago that when it comes to sound quality LESS is MORE. I am a JA sound, and after an hour of 3bx clapping I can't take any more...it's called ear fatigue. Mi nah follow nobody, if a next man want it , a fe him business. Most expanders have no balanced input/output
You should try an XTA DP448 processor instead of the drive rack. It sounds WAY better than a drive rack. Try it. But I agree, I don’t like all those processors mentioned.
Seems like the string up the other day have you feeling a certain way. No need to throw shade on how a man process their sound how much wicked sound got built using unbalanced or a combination of balanced and unbalanced equipment and before xlr showed up rca was on pro equipment like turntables mixers cd players and much more. And as for quality audio class d amplifier is not the best amplifiers for that they give no warmth yeah they're powerful and can be harsh at times and if you rely solely on one piece of equipment to process your sound make sure you carry a spare cause you can't scramble to finish a gig if that driverack fails. In the meantime big up yourself and every sound man out deh.

I totally agree with you, especially with the amount of power that these amplifiers put out today less would be better for less distortion
So before processor come in what components did you use to wire up your rack ?

Do have stereo leads so what call left and right single from one input if use 2 input left and right on both channel
