Last week I spent 2 million SL on Toolboxes - something I don't usually do - and to my surprise I got the Kingcobra aircraft as well as...... the Lubeck!!!! Oh my is that thing a menace! I have the Koln but it's pretty much stock so I didn't appreciate how freaking lethal that thing is. I had a run in with an Atlanta and I walked - or sailed - away from it victorious!
Yeah the Koln and Lubeck are fantastic ships. If you learn how to manage the ASW rocket. You can DELETE destroyers and cruisers. Manage the heat and the 100mm is reliable and lethal. Gambling in moderation usually pays the best dividends. 🤣 Hope you're well mate 🫡
@@CmdrTyrael I'm well thanks mate. O yeah those ASW rockets are awesometastic, love their trajectory and punch, RBU's stand aside there's a new sheriff in town. And the secondary / AA guns with proximity rounds are gravy. Versing Soviet 4.3 isn't so scary now.
Good morning, Well there are both 40 mm/70 But the german ones are mle 48 or is it 58 while the Italian ones are Breda made ones with a higher fire rate (Type 107 in the name is only the improved open single mount as per navweps), How I wish the Sparviero with the DARDO mount was added as those are even deadlier Breda 40 mm/70 autocannons with a better receiver. It's funny as the old saying goes goes "germany gets everyone's stuff but somehow always the better shit" as seen in the video that Hugin is the Cooler Nasty class, Similar the Plief you're researching is a Brave class. They also get a better Project 50 than the TT soviet Project 50 to research albeit a squidron ship (not counting the premium you can purchase). Plus the Drache is also Yugoslavian in original (although built by germany). Heh your Me 410 was basically shot down by the Gifthorse (name of a 1954 film) heh, You don't see those Towns/Wickes often but the fifties worked for once it seems.
I agree with that German sentiment. I am still waiting for Gaijin to drop Pr. 1331 East German variant with the 57mm and the twin 30mm. which, in my opinion, will absolutely shred. @CmdrTyrael Funny I was going mention the Project 1331 (iirc M meant modified/Modernized for the soviet ones) but chose not to. Speaking of the Project 201 it's definitely overshadowed nowadays but the Volksmarine could get similar in the form of the Hai class basically a longer more armed Project 201K with 2×2 25/80 2M-3 turrets & 1×1 45 mm/78 SM-21ZIF. There's a post on the forum going into detail about DDR Volksmarine vessels that could be added besides the three we currently have.
@@JuanRico-d1b The Sparviero DARDO is a vessel in the game files which in place of the OTO 76/62 is a Twin Fast Forty turret (DARDO). So think the 40 mm/70 autocannons found on the Freccia class Motoconvertibili but in compact closed dual mounts with a higher RoF & access to APDS ammunition. I hope they do end up one day adding that monster to the game.
Ive spaded mine and all I did was motoring slowly around and killing a lot of stuff 😅 when they dont use your slow speed against you with torps you win. the crew count makes it hard to kill. Ive spaded it in 59 matches, died 41 times and killed 191 ships 😅
When you’re facing most other coastal stuff bow on the 20s eat them unless they get close and under the guns, more armoured coastal and you really need to get the 2 primaries going.
Having their fleet fly under 4 separate flags give them so many options. High seas fleet GDR Volksmarine West Germany and the kriegsmarine. Germans are spoiled for choice in naval🫡
Congratulations on almost completing the German coastal ships, mine have holes all over the place, every time they add a new ship I have to go back and unlock it, at least with the Russians I'm missing the last two

That's one boat I haven't played yet, it was added after I passed it. I have it researched so I can have a go and make some suggestions.

I enjoyed the german coastals. I especially love the Köln. I also enjoyed the M802 till it was changed in BR. Its not fun to meet all those Moffets
