@@shckltnebay super good. Every mode is usable, and the attack knob is as cool as you think. Favorite uses include reverse with lots of tone rolled off, digital with age and attack turned way up, and mod with age and attack turned up. Great multi function delay.
@@aaronsanchez93 replied to the other homie, it’s great! Check out that comment for specifics. One thing I forgot to mention as a drawback, is that I wish it was 1/4 TRS midi instead of 5-pin, but that’s just my own picky preference in most anything anymore.
I love this pedal. It allowed me to finally get the DL4 monster off my board. Great and interesting sounds and lots of options. I love all the Walrus pedals!!!
I use the El capistan and then go into a walrus slo and then go into a stereo Reverb (gfi reverb v3) and literally It's Magic right there... I do have this pedal also but I haven't really dug into it yet
I just accidentally deleted a very long an inspired comment…..oh well Thanks your vids have inspired me in choosing very important devices in my set up. I was already sold on getting this delay angel and well, of course you closed the deal…
I'd say they're very different - this is more pristine and has the different modes, while Megabyte is focused on being a lofi delay and can add dirt and modulation from there
I haven't played the DD-200 so it's hard to say, but I'm sure either will work great in any rig. I personally love some of the features of the D1 (the attack knob, the modulation on a lot of the modes) so I would probably choose that for how I play
I have been primarily using it with my Archetype Plini amp plug-in or in front of my Trem-O-Verb. Sounds great with high gain leads or spacey texturing.
Lol, the mail carrier was literally placing mine on the porch as I got the notification for this. So stoked for both!
Well how is it?
Yes give us a update

@@mattysanford Cool is there any issue with the lack of analog dry through, buffer change the tone at all?

And didn't even mention the sustainer button or all the presets options
This is so damn beautiful. I wanna pair it with a Slö and a Julia, and just space out for hours.
Yeah, I feel like this + reverb kinda has me set for a long time, like the clip with the Sky5000. This even does a pretty great chorus on its own

I already wanted one but you've sold me with the demo of the attack knob 😍
It's a gamechanger! The second I realized what it was doing, I was sold

Lovely demo. Having used both and done fantastic demos of them, do you have a preference between this and the Caroline Megabyte?
I'd say they're very different - this is more pristine and has the different modes, while Megabyte is focused on being a lofi delay and can add dirt and modulation from there
How does it behave in vintage mode when you speed up the delay time? Does it pitch up like a tape delay when ms get shorter? Thank you!!
i have the same question
Wonderful demo as always. But i do not really get the „analog“ feeling. But still, a great pedal for the price tag
Fantastic! I love your sounds!
Is there a reason you plug in right and out right?
It was a mistake that I realized while editing, but not a huge difference in sound from that
Do one for the Walrus Audio Slo. A lot would appreciate that.
I'd like to get one of those! I played a friend's and really liked it. I do have a demo of the Fathom which is similar
How does this compare to the Eventide Blackhole?
As always, thank you for the review. If you had to choose the D1 or DD-200, which would it be? Thanks in advanced?

Ma quelle sono la Becca di Nona e L'Emilius. Sei di Aosta o le hai ramazzate su Internetssss?
Experiencing any digital clipping with high output/gain before it?
I haven't tried that, I'll have to! But it's not something I've noticed without looking for it

What tuning do you usually play in?
Mainly EAEABE, or drop that down to DAEABE
