I tell the same thing to others as well. Had a mataro as my first bike and even after trying cinellis bianchis etc, it was a great deal complete for 500ish
its a shame that they only make e bikes now, they made some really nice fixed gear bikes in their earlier years. i really think state bikes has the entry level fixed gear market on lock now

State does seem to put out a good bike, their steel frames seemed like the standard Chinese fixed gear bikes to me though.
Seems like they are only selling e-bikes now
