I remember my parents didn’t want me to see this movie for a long time because they thought it was bad, but then I saw it and thought it was absolutely amazing. One of my fav animated movies of all time. Certainly better than modern Simpsons episodes.
I swear, The Simpsons are a gold treasure. This movie is pure comedy and laughter, I love it. The Simpsons will always remembered as my favourite show.
I still remember the first time that I watched this flim as a 2 year old and every time my dad would put in the wall and call me spider pig 😅right now and then i still watch this flim to remember thoes memories but my favourite characters from this flim was bart and homer
That was my favorite quote and the answers yes lol "Youre a woman. You can hold on to it forever", Its genius but hard to explain why it is. Marge being a real human wife with emotions though, Homer's actions having real consequences, Grandads nonsense having a meaning for once, Lisa finding someone who makes her happy and they don't leave, Bart confronting his abuse in the family. This movie basically closed the chapter to Every characters trope its pretty insane. I had so much fun watching this at 13 😂
I saw this opening day with friends, and the theatre was packed I swear with super fans. It was probably the most engaged crowd and best audience experience I can remember.
22:06 Bananas are absolutely an excellent source of potassium; especially since they require significantly less preparation and/or effort than most other foods that have a higher potassium content. Some of those others can also come with side effects like upset stomach (beans, raisins, prunes, lentils and dried apricots, for instance). Don't mix up the fact that there are other foods with higher content, with the idea that it makes the great content in bananas a myth. Bananas really are a great source.
@@steven95NYes. Considering the environment issue is completely connected to politics. People preaching about it almost always are supporting policy decisions that effect everyone’s lives.
@@yzyFCBsocio69do you guys not think it's quite odd how he hasn't watched literally ANY movie... Makes me think it isn't actually his first time watching
The film was the first Simpsons production to broadcast its animation in high definition, as the show's episode "Take My Life, Please" (2009 episode) was the first to broadcast its animation in high definition to present day.
14:38 Me too. I love this movie, don't get me wrong. But I think it was ten years too late. The good writers had left, this would've been a completely different movie if Conan O'Brien had been a writer, or if Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein had been attached. One of my biggest problems with this was that according to the producers, they introduced Colin because they didn't believe people knew enough about Millhouse's character for him to be an adiquate love interest for Lisa. Given that the Simpsons had been going since 1987, and Millhouse had been crushing on Lisa since season four / five, this is ridiculous. And spoiler alert, we never hear from Colin again accept for a couple of background non-verbal cameos.
How, exactly, did that happen when this film was in theaters 5 years before Pitch Perfect was made? Are you really so pathetic that you have to make up a story to convey how much you hate any film that has women in it?
Even though The Simpsons Movie came out in 2007 -- which was long after I stopped watching the TV show, at least on a regular basis -- I saw this in the theater, and REALLY enjoyed it.
@@waterywingz did people look behind themselves during the ending, when those shadows appeared? 😆 everyone thought it was people walking in front of the projector 😆😆
You want to tell me hes a simpsons fan and watched simpsons when he was younger, but never watched the movie?? I will never believe this. Still i love you seb
Alaska is that nice. And yes, they do pay residents over $1000 a year to live there from the Permanent Fund derived from oil extraction. Alaska is farther north by a margin of 1000 km than the inhabited parts of Canada. Coastal Alaska from British Columbia to the Kenai is breathtaking.
I’m pretty sure there are people who aren’t a fan of how homer doesn’t care that Springfield is being blown up but to be fair that’s the same town who almost drove his son into committing suicide because of a baseball game
Seb im disappointed you didnt included the disney joke about mickey being the face of an evil corporation which somehow didnt get erased doing its inclusion to disney plus
It's always interesting when cartoons/ animated shows get a movie and it feels so much more serious/ better quality than the show lol. I'd love to see Seb react to more films like Recess: School's Out, Kim Possible Movie: So the Drama, Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe, etc in the future too.
Ok so bit of context: Alaska is a US state that is geographically seperated from the rest of America by Canada. Alaska and the next closest province of Canada (BC, where I live) have a lot of deep sea channels carved by glaciers (Fjords), snow capped mountains and temperate evergreen forests. With that in mind, the weather is usually cold, rainy or snowy, a lot of industries use natural resource extraction like logging or oil drilling and it can be very expensive to live here
omg yes i love your reaction to this movie!! while youre watching a movie based on a tv cartoon you should also try the bob's burgers movie I feel like you would enjoy it!!
Fat Tony: Fine... I'll go and put my "yard trimmings" in a car compactor. Lou: Y'know, Chief, I thought he had a dead body in there Wiggum: I thought that too.. . Until he said yard trimmings. You gotta learn to listen, Lou
The $1000 thing might be a dig at Russia although I am not sure, Alaska used to be Russian territory but the US and Russia struck a deal at $7.2 million and Alaska was sold to the US...with the amount of fishing that goes on in that sea the Russians basically handed the land to the US, they share waters these days with the boundary being in the sea, had Russia not sold Alaska the fishing trade in the US would be greatly compromised, the Russians probably think they were conned in this day and age, and to be frank they were.
I actually enjoy when a band or comedian talks politics and/or religion 🤷♂️ I noticed that I listen to Rage, System, etc and comedy like Carlin, Hoffstetter (not sure how it's spelled). If you go in knowing you're getting it it's not as jarring. Actors who start preaching is annoying though.
Like I think hmm for hours for nelson laugh at Bart shame then his mother came and say nelson honey where you been and he and his mother laugh like this hahahaha hahahaha

Gotta love watching your reactions twice
The fact that people think the environment is "Political" is madness...
I mean it’s definitely political considering there are “policies” that affect the environment. Some good and some bad
@Jay-pd9kc So, absolutely every aspect of life is political as there are policies that affect every aspect of life? That makes no sense.

Bart: "I'm the Mascot of an Evil corporation" 😅

I was just on “The Simpsons Ride” yesterday. I should check out more of the treehouse of horror episodes around Halloween.
I watched this in the theaters, and it was so funny!! Btw, Maggie is seriously the most underrated character ever, and my all-time favorite!!!! 😍😍😍😍

At the start of the movie he called the Simpsons Hit And Run a banger. I'm so happy he agrees, I play the game still aswell
20:00 I just realized, Seb needs to watch HAPPY FEET!
Because he didn't get that reference at all. Plus he loves musicals.
17:00 Did you seriously just say that Homer doesn't owe Springfield anything? It's entirely Homer's fault that Springfield is trapped in a dome!
I’m pretty sure there are people who aren’t a fan of how homer doesn’t care that Springfield is being blown up but to be fair that’s the same town who almost drove his son into committing suicide because of a baseball game
