Changing tempo seems to make rythms fluctuate slightly from the beat, especially 16ths and triplets. Is there some setting to increase subdivision accuracy in Musescore? At the default 120 bpm playback is very metronomish, but going to 119 bpm 16ths and triplets becomes very loose and jazzy if you know what I mean :)
Maybe check under the file drop down menu? I work on windows and Mac so I’ll try it on a Mac to see what’s up. Most of these videos are done on a PC but most of it shouldn’t matter?? :-)

My first question is did you use the plug-in?
@@PianoSpiceRackwithJim No, just the overall BPM tempo setting
Oh, yes sir. How about with Sibelius?
not sure as I don't use sibelius often, maybe something with the inspector tab?
@@musicspicerackwithjim2332 There is no Ritardando option on the inspector in Sibelius, sir. If you know, please inform me, sir. 🙏
Maybe, just like Musescore? (using plugin🔌)
@@Bintang_AS ah yes, plugin!
Thanks for this video but I am not seeing preferences when I go to edit.

Do you like to compose a lot? Do you play piano?
@@musicspicerackwithjim2332 yes, unfortunately my house don’t have a keyboard that I can input notes, so I have to do extra steps like rit.
I am using a Mac
You went waaaaay too fast and lost me after 90 seconds. I'm a composer, not a computer programmer.
Did you try slowing the video down? thanks for the feed back
You can try pausing the video during each important step.
Edit: That's what I did to keep up with him.
@@hyper9532 Thank you so much. I did that, and I have successfully installed the plugin!
@@timothywilliams1359 oh and also can you help me? It doesnt show the plugin TempoChanges when i went into the plugin manager
@@hyper9532 You have to go to "Plugin Manager" and make sure that box before "Tempo Changes" has a check mark in it.
Thank you very much! A very helpful video
