Is there a software notation where you can play a chord on the midi keyboard and the chord symbol will appear above the stave?

Unfortunately this is not really real time, real time would be to press a record button and start playing untill a stop button is pressed. I love Musescore but I always need to go to third part softwares when I need this feature. Are you awhere if is it already implemented in some/any newer version? Thanks, best regards!

I wanted to record midi notes in real time. I mean to start record in muse with metronome switched on. Then playing my notes and Muse automatically realizes the note length and pitch. This seems not to be possible, right? I am not good with notes. Such a function would allow me to create note lines for other musicians to use. If I have to do it step by step I will struggle to figure out the specific phrase. I am looking for a program for me to do this. Should not be a big deal I thought. Seq programs can do this since decades. Why is it so difficult for Muse to implement this function? It's basic programming and no rocket science.

Thank you for your video. How did you get the first line to line up with the rest of the score? I don't like the default of indenting the first line of music. It seems like a waste of notation space. I'm using musescore4 and this and my Mac are new experiences for me. TIA

very impressive, but i came for check how can I modify only 1 guitar tab string notes. So I select 1 note, right mouse button --> select --> more, and its open a "select notes" window I'm selecting same string, and its selecting all of them in the whole file. its pretty good, but useless, because Can't copy, can't cut, can't place up or down 1 string, only I can pitch up and down the sheet with halfstep, and octave. seems like its not working file --> parts function, when im selecting 1 string. I thought set invisible means, its gonna be locked, can't modify when I'm selecting (ctrl+a) the whole sheet, but nope, its useless too. Is there a way I can select only G string notes, then put down to D string?

i am currently using ms 4.2.# on mac and i'm unable to replicate the ⌃⇧ drag to put a custom element into a pallete. the ⇧ forces the element to travel vertically. is that a mac thing or a version 4 thing? thoughts.

The one thing this video doesn't cover is how to delete them once you enter them. When you click on the bracket and hit either delete or cut, your whole measure disappears...which is absolutely ridiculous. Beyond frustrating.

Very useful for digital score. Save our time denoting on paper score. Have at least downbeat and upbeat on every crotchet, so that even guitarist can track movement better.

1- insert text frame 2- page jump ON THE TEXT FRAME 3- Select the mesure before the frame 4- Insert measures after selection Your Titles and frame will rest in the correct place if you to add a new chapter for example.
