    Just a heads up, Cvstodia is pronounced as Custodia, the V reads as a U.

      True, but meanwhile, what's most downgraded is the boss design, very disappointing.

    Is this a different Penitent One? The original one is dead, right? In the dlc.

      I am not 100% sure. But the game takes place after the last dlc. I've never personally played the original.

      @@GamingInstincts I wrote that for general chat, & did it before watching ur vid till the end. I spoiled it for u, sorry. Definitely jump in2 the original bro. There’s so much content in it. Can’t wait for the expansion for this sequel. This time the developers can add in a price tag for dlc as they deserve it.

      Blasphemous 2 is a direct storyline continuation of the Blasphemous: Wounds of Eventide ending. The advent of a new Miracle brings the protagonist back to life after a very long time on an unknown land in the hands of the petrified Deogracias. Since he lost his sword Mea Culpa, he has to find himself a new weapon.

    I really only use a D-Pad for games like this. Feels more natural. Loving the first game. On a NG+ currently. Super fun.

      Blasphemous 2 is a direct continuation of the story of the the first part protagonist. Blasphemous 1 is currently on sale at a 75% discount. I think that complete or, at least, just playing the first part before the release of 2 is a great decision! So you can plunge into the world of this game and feel its unique art design, story and atmosphere

      100% play the first one. I just finished the game and am cruising through a New Game + to unlock the true ending(you have to play it a second time to unlock the DLCs). It bleeds right into the second game.

    Its so frustrating people comparing every difficult and dark game as souls like.

    • @GamingInstincts
      @GamingInstincts  9 місяців тому

      Why is that frustrating?

    • @Gastro-enterite-en-imax
      @Gastro-enterite-en-imax 9 місяців тому +1

      @@GamingInstincts because comparing the games you like as mere copy of a game that has nothing to do with it like cuphead or hollow knight (where the developpers clearly said they never played any souls game in their life nor take inspiration). The souls game never invented anything either, it all already existed (not that fromsoft wasn’t original, they put there own twist on it and its very good) they just put all these things together with great quality so it became popular. Its like saying every song that has spanish in it is a despacito like song. You should check out the Nasu video on the subject : The problem with souls like
      Your video is great tho

      @@Gastro-enterite-en-imax I am pretty positive that blasphemous was influenced by Dark Souls and I compared it because its very similar, not because I like Dark Souls.
      From Software is a world class developer now. Souls has set a standard of its own, many. God of War was actually officially inspired by Bloodborne and Dark Souls, this was said in an interview.
      I get where you coming from, but that's like me saying how I am sick of every Zelda game getting 10/10 when it clearly does not deserve that when it keeps running into technical issues and runs at lower frame-rates and resolutions and Nintendo always get a pass because its Zelda.
      I appreciate the kind comments and glad to hear you enjoyed the video. Also, you can find our website at www.gaminginstincts.com we cover the gaming industry as a whole. We have a review coming up for another anticipated game that's coming out next month :) I can't tell you yet what it is due to NDA rules , but make sure you are subscribed with the bells turned on and stay tuned friend

      @@GamingInstincts at least you understand my point and even if i dont see why you arr talking about gow and you don’t specify your sources when it came to blasphemous, thank you for your time and im gonna hit that bell 👍

    • @GamingInstincts
      @GamingInstincts  9 місяців тому

      @@Gastro-enterite-en-imax I am talking about GoW because even a big like that was inspired by Bloodborne. Here is the source about it where a designer guy from the team talks about its inspiration.
      wccftech.com/god-of-war-world-hub-based-bloodborne/
      The point is that whatever you think of From Software and whether Dark Souls invented something or not, the fact is that the souls franchise has a huge influence on current modern day and future titles. Elden Ring funny enough was inspired by Breath of the Wild due to its open world freedom, so they wanted to put BoTW and Souls formula together and now its one of the best games ever made.
      Blasphemous has too many game mechanics that make it extremely obvious that it was inspired by dark souls. The checkpoint system where you light up stuff and you can teleport between them. And even death that gives you a big "You Died" screen that is in roman/catholic themed.
      You don't have to be a rocket scientist too see the similarities man, neither does the developer has to be outspoken about it. It's just a simple fact.
      Thank you for subscribing and turning on the bell. I appreciate that, it's always nice to have a civil discussion in a comment section.
