I've stayed in Bangkok since 2007 and live in Din Daeng just off Ratchada. I pay 6640 thb, which right now is about $186. Big C, MRT Station, The Street Mal, Esplanade and The One Ratchada Night Market are 5+ minute walks from the Condo, which has a massive swimming pool and a reasonable fitness center. Central Rama 9 is one stop away on the MRT and is just minutes away and Suhkumvit is 3 stops and a quick trip. His place is much bigger and nicer, but its also $1300 more, lol. I love it here. Just to be clear, I am not hating on anything he has going, it looks great, I just my info to show that there really great options that are much more economical. I'm from Michigan too. 😋

OMG....thought it was just me saying if that guy says "for the most part" one more time I'm gonna scream. It was really distracting from the great info he was giving. I found myself playing a game....okay, he's gonna say for the most part now.........and he usually did. I think Isaish should do a funny short just with this guy saying "for the most part". Would be funny.
Expensive for my tastes but good to see what $1500 gets you. Think paying $500 further out from the center and near a BTS is my level (for the most part 😂). Great video as always!
I stay in a great place and area and pay $186 for a furnished 40 m^2, furnished condo that is extremely convenient. I just wrote a comment with more details if you are interested. Let me know if you want more info. Cheers.

Very nice video, thank you for making this. You are a great interviewer, you gave people enough space to fully express themselves. Much better than some of the so called media
Also one of the reasons I chose Bangkok...easy to get to other SE Asian countries and the price to get there is not bad at all...3 - 4 hrs will get you most places from on a non-stop from BKK to India, China, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Viet Nam, Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, add another couple few hours and you'll be able to add Japan, S. Korea, Australia (6.5 will even get ya to the Middle East - UAE, & Oman - Qatar too, but at a bit higher price-tag).
I shattered my ipad screen in the Philippines and they fixed that thing in like 4 hours and it cost 30$ that was a year ago and it still works just fine. This dude is living the life I want, nice house TVs food is good. I have 4k a month this is the realistic budget I was looking for.
Yes! Love the info here and i also tip local services where I live. I'm a full-time remote worker from US living in Mexico and i definitely like to give back to the local culture and people however i can. Buy local products/produce, learn the language, understand intricacies of the culture, etc. Tipping generously is great cuz it shows we appreciate the privilege of living in (insert other currency ) while earning in USD.
Great video and interview....also congrats to him for thriving!!! I will say ....i feel $1500 is a bit excessive..i pay $380 and i think my condo has wayy better amenities and looks a lot more modern. But he does have amazing space! Love to see this! keep going!!!!
I love his spot for the convenience, but I also think I would look for something cheaper and more culturally located. I could live in a highrise in any major city in USA, so I would want to experience something different, but great for him ❤
Thank you so much for sharing what a higher end condo looks like. I am simply amazed at what my income could do there as opposed to the states. I appreciate you both for your presence in this video 🙏🏻
Going back to Thailand this summer, planning on spending a year. A friend of mine swears by the ekkimai area. Gotta check it out. Seems like there’s everything you need without having to go out too far.
If you look at his skin and face generally he doesn’t look older. It’s because he is big, he said he’s on a diet so when he loses weight, I’m sure he’ll even look younger, He looks well put together.
I just had to re-listen about Aijalon's expenses. I thought he said he was spending 2-2.5k USD not including his rent, but then I re-watched and see that's including rent....wow. Wondering where he found his chef and are the dishes being cooked, Thai, American, or a mix of various cuisines...That sounds like a great idea. I have a friend that was balling out in PH, his private chef turned hi pad into a high-class restaurant - dude gave me an Amuse-bouche, I was like what...lol. But a meal prep guy sounds like a smart idea. I don't mind cooking but to have someone make me some good nutritious meals would be great.
I’m financially set ,and am ready to do something different in live. Love meeting good people, friends you guys are cool . Hope you could show me around and teach the ways, have a few beers.
Great place, the setup in the corner of the room make the difference! Pretty rare in Bkk definitely correct pricing for this condo on 42! This should be around $2000 in phrom pong. Smart move!
1500 normal price for 2 bed 2 bath in bkk even older condos … but i like his set up … building to old for that price but long as he is happy that’s what matters … my condo in Bangkok has private elevator and don’t cost that much lol but if you want space here must go old the newer condo buildings all smaller
Nice to see brothas out here living good. Been living in China a few years, now thinking about moving to Thailand but been in Bangkok a few days now and loving it. Possibility for a meetup?
Great looking apartment and congrats on the nice lifestyle you got going out there. Don't think I could justify spending that much on accommodation but I love the fact you're saving a lot on food by having everything home-cooked. You could save even more by cooking it yourself but I guess you'd rather have that time back to yourself. How much is the personal chef if you don't mind me asking ?
Great show my brother and very informative. I would just love the convivence of the attached station alone. I have no desire to stay in Bangkok but that is tempting as hell

How are you able to rent versus using AirBnb? As a foreigner, is there a lot of red tape to get through?
For the most part 7000 is great price
