@davidwatson7604 lol I figured with these smaller states, we could handle a double shot!

Sigh. Yeah, I pretty much figured that. I'm in Bear, DE, along US Rt 40 in Becks' Woods. I've been in my house since 1991, lived in DE since 1981. From when I previously looked at the Gov't charts, my immediate area wasn't swamped at all, even with 10 ft sea level rise, but as you show, a huge impact to utilities and roadways and other infrastructure, yikes. I commuted for 16 years to the Valley Forge / King of Prussia, PA area but never moved because the roads and general congestion was bad, and they had sales tax...LOL. I'm not tied to DE, but where I am is so convenient, I'm like 15 min from anywhere I want to be, and near all the major arteries. But, I hardly know anyone, early "retired" would rather be in a single floor place...Sigh.

@ph5915 I'm glad I got a heads up to look at infrastructure impacts for this state. I've never lived on the east coast, so it didn't occur to me that so much traffic goes through Delaware.
Moving is always a hard call to make. I do not like the heat increases for Delaware on top of everything else. As we get older, we will feel the heat more. I don't think I'd race out of Delaware, but I think I would recommend making a plan to move in the next 2-3 years. You're so close to a better areas for cool summers, with more potential for stable utilities.

@@AmericanResiliency Thank you Dr. Emily! Oh, I hear ya about the heat, I am really sensitive to heat and humidity. A lot of my childhood was in FL and I hated/hated/hated it! My brother and sis-in-law moved there 5 yrs ago and I just can't fathom it - besides, their not in much better shape either. Ugh. Yeah, I should definitely start planning a relocation!

@@ph5915 wishing you all the best with it- moving is hard! But Florida-like conditions are creeping WAY further up the east coast than I'd like in these 2C projections, all the way through the Carolinas. Some people enjoy that climate, but it's not for me, either.
