Just a suggestion for your screen door, use magnets instead of Velcro because then they're much easier to open and close, especially without using your hands. You'll need more magnets but it's so worth it.
Dollar Tree also sells an extendable magnetic tool to pick up dropped objects, for $1.25. I don't know how strong the magnet is compared to the loose magnets like he used, but it's already assembled, and is extendable, so more easily stored in a drawer, toolbox, vehicle, or wherever.
This man is quite the craftsman! Awesome ideas. Smart guy! Can you come over here and help me, if I don't end up wearing what I am working on, I'm throwing it lol What patience he has!
I sont know about the magjet on the dowel and the ring.... None of mybrijgs ate magjetic. Even costume jewelry I have wouldn't grab to thst. Jabe you tried this,?
Not sure where my response went yesterday. Try looking up "rare earth magnets" or "neodymium". Add "in UK" - I just did the search and found several places right away.
“Anything that is precious” … may I add that Precious metals such as silver, gold etc.. they don’t work with magnets, so gotta find another way to get them out anyway 🙈

@@Bettinasisrg That is a good idea. I was thinking Velcro would not add the weight needed to close. Magnets would do the trick

These magnets are the best idea yet!!
I wish there was a magnet strong enough to find studs through plaster. Great ideas
@@lindayoungwoolf Magnets wont find wood studs. You’ll need a stud finder for that.
they can locate dry wall crews which are mainly in studs
And if you are giving someone jewellery that's magnetic you are a cheapskate. Some of the ideas might work though.

Magnets will not pick up non ferrous metals.
That is correct. Anything that is made of brass or aluminum will not get picked up by a magnet. Great comment
@ perhaps that ring was made of stainless steel, but it didn’t look it to me.
@@susanyasinsky930 it was made of stainless steel.
@ Yuck. Oh then it will pick it up. Who worries about a stainless steel ring? Just buy another one.

A magnet works on silver or gold ( that went down a drain?! )
Where, in the UK, can I find magnets like these…Anybody? 🤷🏻♀️ TYIA 🙏
Not sure where but I can recommend a search term and I'm sure you'll get a lot of suggestions locally. Search for "rare earth magnets" or "neodymium".
You can't get them on Amazon I live in Belfast.x

You do know that gold aren’t magnetic. Is silver?

Silver and gold won't stick to magnets.
