Japanese guys are really crazy when it's time to choose a name for a robot. I'm sure they choose names randomly. This is a good example. "Forestieri" in Italian means "Strangers". It's not even a common name bacause is a word not so used anymore. No idea why they choose this word! It can be only "random" I think.

Japanese people just love using what they think are cool sounding foreign words, even if they don't make sense in context. As someone who is also a fan of Star Wars and Warhammer, westerners are also guilty of this lol.

Cool sounding foreign words triggers the edginess/chuunibyou on one's heart. Marketing teams knows cool sounding names sells better.
Just look at all the "gamer" pc parts, most have names like Fuuma, Gugnir, Kotetsu, Aegis, Bifrost, Raijin, Panzer, etc.

Best guess I could give is lore wise this exmac uses tech from the new maxion forces, maybe stranger is an allusion to it's use of another civilizations technology?

@@flamezombie1 I never stated at any point that the name had no meaning in my previous comment.
My previous comment was stating that people tend to use foreign cool/edgy sounding names in their PC product for marketing purposes without knowing the meaning/origin/purpose of the name in the first place.
Like how is a cuboid shaped PC case named Gungnir is relatable to the shape of a spear, or it's myth?
Or how Raijintek who primarily makes PC coolers but only ONE psu since the company was formed, are not instead named Fujintek?

Got the forestieri 02 and love it! Only thing I wasn't satisfied with was the plastic used, but I'm hoping this guy fixes those issues!

You should get the Spinatio series as well, Samurai/Ninja/Knight/Assassin etc. They're super duper cool!

the head reminds me a teensy bit of a Bit Mobile Suit from Gundam X. also, i wonder... with it being a pint-sized machine, would it be compatable with the Core Gundam's Planet Armors? you know? imagine an EARTHREE Forestieri

So these are around 15cm tall? Can't find any measures online beyond 1/144 scale. 1/144 of something 2 meters tall is going to be a lot different than something 500 meters tall.
