Peach Ice Cream recipe - refreshingly perfect for a summer day

This summer has been quite hot and ice cream has been in high demand. My ice cream maker is a grandpa. My parents got it more than 20 years ago. Since it is usually sitting in the garage, I decided to make better use of it this summer! Here’s some delicious peach ice cream. It’s flavorful and packed with the juicy flavor of peaches, yet light and refreshing at the same time.
Ingredients:
4 peaches (~2 pounds)
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup sugar (split in half: 1/2+1/2)
6 large egg yolks
1/2 cup buttermilk
Pinch of salt

I love peaches but have tried peach ice cream. I usually go for something with a tangy twist to vanilla like black currant or liquorice

hahaha I do the same as well! So delicious biting into a ripe peach! It's hard to allocate them for other recipes! XD
You should try macarons again! My girlfriend has gotten really into making them. They can be really finicky, but once you get the base down, there are so many variations.

Would using riper peaches make the flavour of peach stronger? I just really love peach and I want to try this out!

I would say its pretty light which is a flavor profile that I enjoy but if you desire more of a punch of peach flavor, I would definitely use riper peaches! Or even maybe add some concentrated peach juice/puree?
