Even though I've been laughing at and quoting, on occasion, this sketch and I know what's coming up, it *still* cracks me up, every time. Everett, the master of the short, one man sketch. "pulling out his trouser pockets and doing elephant impressions!" 😉
I don't actually remember this sketch, although I am a life-long Kenny fan. So I'm reckoning it was a one-off, or else didn't prove popular with the viewers. Still tho, Kenny acted it wonderfully and I thought it was awesome. Thank you for posting this rare gem. Perhaps Julian Mince and Verity Treacle should've gotten together and had a kid called Lucien Mince-Treacle or some such.
There were a series of these sketches, my favourite one is where he adlibs as a plane flies overhead and he exclaims, “oh! It’s good old Dolly Heatherington” suggesting it’s her flying her private jet. I remember them all quite clearly.
What's really interesting is comparing studio audience reaction/laughter in TV sitcoms from various decades. Modern, 21st century comedies' audiences tend to whoop and yell, signalling that they get the joke - or the implied political joust. Go back to the 70's and 80's and you'll hear audiences laughing. And in the case of "On The Buses" - the bete noire of snotty wokes everywhere - doing so in knicker-wetting order.
Kenny was hilarious even in finnish tv. Unfortunately airhairlair goes beyond my comprehension of english as well as fuzzies but his acting compensates fully. Great thing he's still semi alive in youtube.
Old Kenny would not have survived under the current lefty woke no sence of humor brigade we have now .Im surprised lefty woke you tube haven't cracked down these videos. Its a shame there is littel of this great comedy left.
I'm a "leftie," and totally agree with you. I grew up with Cuddly Ken and still find this stuff hilarious. But, I see it as mocking attitudes, rather than endorsing them. A bit like Alf Garnett and Al Murray. But, you're right "shooting the fuzzies," would, no doubt, by some, be seen as "racist!"

And in the best possible taste.
A lot of Kenny’s script was written by the late, great Barry Cryer.
Good remembering and hoorah for Barry….genius!
@@londoncalling151 ..wha? 😲
"Never hold anything back... Never leave the audience in any doubt!"
Sir Michael Caine.
I think it's fair to say that Kenny would agree with this! 🏆🇬🇧
Bloody funny, mate

Great gag… good old kenny- R.I.P
Shooting the fuzzies! Crickey! It would never fly now 🤣

He was amazing sad lost to real comedy 😢

What a fantastic history of comedy we had in this country......up until the wokey nutters spoilt everything.

The 'wokey nutters' of today will be the butt of jokes for years in the future of humour.

'AirHairLair' was Kenny's comedic way of saying that that was how the upper class would pronounce 'Oh Hello'!
Ok, now I get. Thanks!
I wonder if Julain was a mentor to the 13th Duke of Wymbourne?
This guy had funny bones
Think I just pissed myself.
Hilarious
A massive fan of Maggie Thatcher and the Tory party 👉🇬🇧👈
Julian Mince should marry Verity Treacle.
Only KE could have got away with this.
This is how I imagine Dr Liam Fox and his companion Mr Adam "Werrity" Verity.
Many say he was ahead of his time. He wasn’t because the snowflakes wouldn’t understand

It’s only racist if you want it to be.
Are you a murican.?

He ticked the leftie box of being gay but not the leftie box of being not funny....
:-)
Kenny was a Gay.
So not funny..
That's why it's funny. It's the English sense of humour - best in the world.
Try Cupid Stunt then.
You have a problem mark not us.
That's because you are void of humour, you stupid fuckwit
It is either ‘so funny’ or ‘not funny’ not a combination of both. Probably an Americanism.
