Am I wrong in thinking this is not only going to be the greatest coaster in the park's history, but one of the greatest coasters on Earth? The track length seems insane, as does being shot out the top of Wonder Mountain 😮

if it's like the hulk that launches out the mountain then that would be a nice addition
I feel the opposite. It’s gonna be a very short ride with maybe 3 elements including a top hat. There just isn’t room for a ton of track and elements. There is no need for wonderland to build a “long” ride. Too expensive.

This area is called International Festival and the area where Blauer Enzian was located was renamed Alpen Games. When you say Alpen, you are saying the short form of the former games area. Just like when you say Med Faire for Medieval Faire and Expo for Grand World Exposition of 1890. The International Festival area used to be shortened to Inter Fest, back in the '80's. You can say Alpen, but you are referring to the games area, not the International Festival area.
If everything you say is correct, They have a ton of work to do. It scares me with them being so far behind on Moosehorn, that this coaster will be a long and slow process. I am hoping fkr the best ride ever. We deserve it. It also makes it tough to build due to Haunt and Winterfest.

Huh looks like I might have been right about the station after all and its location! That construction area reminded me of when they did station work for Leviathan. Maybe for the queue line they will fit it under The Fly or even use part of the mountain inside as the queue and then bring you out to the station (hopefully they won't remove shockwave to make space for it lol). They always seem to find a way, it was tight for Yukon and Leviathan but they made it work. Im any case, the location is a nice nod to the old thunder run station.
Unfortunate if its just the launch going through the mountain though, was hoping there would be more elements in the dark/themed within the mountain, but imagine space was an issue for that given how many other things interact inside the mountain. Wonder if the will have an element at front gate that will look like a horseshoe shape as a nod to Skyflyer, simlar to how they have a loop and similar colour scheme for Yukon, as a nod to SkyRider. 🤔

Man, seeing that train in the beginning of the video just makes me want CW to have a park shuttle system of some kind, where it just makes a stop in every area. They can have two shuttles/trains, one going clockwise and the other counterclockwise.

Seems too tight in alpen, launch in the mountain? Also isn't tunnel on alpen side ground level? Track would cut off walkway or have to dip down into tunnel... interesting...
I'm guessing launch out of mountain with que in mountain. Could it be a Disembark only in alpen ?
I could see a raised station and track diving down into the alpen tunnel before being launched up and out of the mountain. The queue area is going to be tight and traffic is going to be bananas if this layout is correct.
Can we see a potential design soon? Maybe include variants depending on the possible manufacturers...
1:15 the other day I made a potential layout and that’s exactly what I thought too! It makes sense for it to go around the mtn and have a sorta out and back layout

Similar to the way in which KD locals have tried to make a potential recreation of KDs 25 coaster based on the footer types in each area of the siteplan as well as their placement.
I swear the old volcano plaza sign post would make an excellent keyhole element for the new coaster.
I still think the Top Hat for this ride will be in Skyflyers land. Also think its Intamin. Hoping so. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This is wonderland. Don’t have high expectations. It will end up being a great addition to the park but it will be short. Look at the space they have to work with. It’s very tight. Most of the ride will need to be over head so no low to the ground elements either
@chez_calabrese I hope it's good and we are wrong, but I feel like keeping expectations low right now is best. Honestly though, Wonderland needs a "top ten in the world coaster" if they are planning a hotel and trying to draw ppl from further away. Cedar Point being only half a day's drive away requires them to. If it's a mid coaster (even if still good), ppl will choose Cedar Point even if it's a bit longer drive for an overnight stay.
@@jakebulmer8698 I don’t think we are competing with CP we can’t. In fact we aren’t competing with anyone we have no competition. The only incentive CW has to add new rides is to disperse the over crowding we get. There is no need to build amazing coasters. I mean leviathan and Yukon are big.. yet somehow they are not amazing.
@chez_calabrese A good example that probably proves your point is snoopys racing railway. There are MUCH better small coaster options, and its basically a worse thunderun sadly :( It just feels like filler to relieve the crowds in the kids area.
@@chez_calabreseI agree. Not to say CW can’t compete with CP (they have the space) they just don’t need to. They already draw a higher attendance. CW needs high capacity rides to lower wait times and make the park more enjoyable so local guests attend more. These seasonal parks don’t really draw international guests the way Universal or Disney can. Adding the hotel is just taking advantage of the space they have to add revenue. People making day trips from outside the GTA are already staying in local hotels so CW just wants in on that action.

All of it, why would they squeeze a popular and massive ride station in between an already jammed area with the Fly, Thunder Run, Shockwave, Klockwerks, Vortex, and the narrow path to Lazy Bear.
I agree. Maybe it’s too early.. but the Fly / Klockwerks area is already busy

Is there enough space in the mountain for a launch that comes out of the top? Unless the launch follows the pullup into the element out of the top of the mountain
I'll believe it when I see it if that's where they're putting the station. I don't see any feasible way they could fit an entire station, nevermind a queue line for crowds as big as Wonderland gets.

I really hope it’s Intamin. Zamperla works too but what TT2 is going through right now. I think Wonderland is shamim’ in their boots if they did pick Zamperla.
You clearly are ignorant of Intamin's horrible reliability & epic engineering failures. Hopefully you're 12 years old, that would give you an excuse for the profound ignorance.. ie... I-305 & Maverick both had to be changed , re-profile of I-305 & heartline roll taken out of Maverick. Volcano was a constant disaster & had to be taken out after over a year of not operating. Intamin couldn't fix it. Xcelerator down for 1 1/2 years with launch issues. Shoot the Rapids at CP seriously injured 7 people, nearly killing one b/c of a Intamin design flaw. Dragster severely injured someone, permanently disabling the lady. There is a reason Cedar Fair doesn't work with Intamin, they have been a nightmare not only of reliability, but actually severely injuring people.

All of them have problems some of them major problems they are not known to make good rides unless there flat rides or kiddie coasters and in the coaster community they are known to be the lowest of the low when it comes to big coasters in fact TTD 2 is there first and look at the problems with it! Intamin would have done a much better job and intamin are known to make much better large coasters than this lowlife company they should of never been hired to even touch TTD2! They are not even in the same league as intamin when it comes to big roller coasters!!!

So correct me if I’m wrong but if this coaster is for 2025 that means it’s gonna open in 2025 meaning next seaosn which is less then a year away. Maybe soon we’ll get an announcement
I’m starting to think this is gonna be a very short ride. With a top hat and 2 other elements before it arrives back to the station. That would make sense for a wonderland coaster and also given the plot of land they are working with.
Would not be so sure about that. Velocicoaster does not have a big footprint. CW can do a lot with the space they have particularly out by Extreme Skyflyer plot.
@@johnboulanger807 the footprint of skyflyer is a fraction of velocicoaster as foot print. Everywhere else out new coaster is going will basically have to be over head or through the mountain which is very very limited and not conducive to make great inversions and low to the ground transitions like intamin are known for. This is gonna be an out and back just like every other coaster in the park with 3 inversions including a nice top hat. It will be a short ride i promise you this
Maybe it will be a Mack rides similar to Voltron, packing in a good sized ride on a relatively small footprint

Isn't Thunderun multi-floor? Maybe others too, I've only been to Wonderland twice in the last 2 decades.
With TT2 being down indefinitely I don't have a lot of confidence in Zamperla. I really hope it's an Intamin.

I have a theory what if the maintance bay is in the mountain with a swtich track comming off of the first launch in the mountain.

I wonder if KD is removing their sky coaster attraction over by windseeker? Doing so would free up more space combined with the recent closure of the go karts over by grizzly for a possible future attraction or coaster in that area.
Of course KD is hard at work on the 25 wing coaster project at the moment although track and supports still haven't arrived on site just yet.
My guess for wonderland would be either a zamperla or premire rides coaster as cedar fair refuses to ever work with intamin again after all of the recent problems they've experienced with everything from volcano to shoot the rapids and intimidator 305. It's akin to the problems that six flags had with vekoma 20 plus years ago with the flying Dutchman coaster and the giant inverted boomerang coasters.
Once a manufacturer develops a reputation for producing problematic rides on a regular basis parks don't want to invest millions Doing business with them for a product that may prove to be totally unreliable and ends up costing more in terms of maintenance and guest dissatisfaction due to the attraction constantly being down for repairs.
I’m concerned this will be a single big element out the mountain .. straight.. and a single big element at Extreme sky flyer. I was hoping more tight turns, twists, loops etc. I want velocicoaster of the North.
I really want 5500+ feet, knock your socks off thrills the WHOLE time. I want to be wowed.

You are correct. This is gonna be a relatively short ride it’s looking like. A launch through the mountain into a top hat, into skyflyer, do 1 element, and head back. That’s what I’m predicting. And there is no way it’s intamin.

Yeah I did, it appears the video where I saw the hand gestures for a supposed top hat was analyzed incorrectly.
