I’ve noticed a lot of improvements from 2019-present: Lows: Her lows are lot more relaxed and carry more tone down to E3. She now supports G3 consistently instead of just G#3 as her consistent note. She arguably even has F#3/G3 as I’ve noticed a lot of her new F3’s from the ES lives are starting to carry support. Mid-belts (G#4-Eb5): Another huge improvement, though not as dramatic as her lows. She’s always been able to produce an open sound from G#4-B4 but now the sound is much more refined and rounded with more chest development. Her lower 5th octave is also much more solid and balanced. Her C#5’s especially used to be very flimsy and just barely supported but now they’re very solid. She’s also able to bring openness up to D5 (14:40) and her Eb5’s are now better placed (less throaty/more forward). Upper belts (E5-Bb5): This is actually the only part of her voice that hasn’t really improved, and has arguably declined. She doesn’t go for these notes as often (unless it’s already a part of the song), and when she does they’re much lighter and lack the intensity and power of her younger self. However, this could be an in attempt to preserve her voice. There’s nothing technically more “wrong” with this part of her voice now, it just lacks the power and presence it once had. Head voice: This video doesn’t really showcase it (mainly because it starts at C6 here lol) but her head voice has also majorly improved. Her head voice is much more developed up to A5. Whistle: She seems to be much more comfortable/experimental in this range.
@@briannaaudain928What exactly do you disagree with about her upper belts? It’s pretty much the general consensus that her upper belts after Wicked have been extremely lightened and lack intensity. Compare her F#5 in the recent Into You performance to 16:53. It’s a lot less engaged and lighter.
@@NunyabbyHer upper belts after wicked don’t lack what you mention imo especially the belts she did for SNL performances for the eternal sunshine album. Also her upper belts for the most part have always been light so I don’t see the issue with them being light now but to each their own and sorry for late response. Good day as well btw lol.
I truly despise people like u fr, I worked days making this, doing research, compiling, editing and choosing good moments just so someone small minded can come here and say something stupid like that. Have good day hope you had a good time writing this tho.
Uhm she hit notes higher than c7🌚
