Race-O-Rama is a legitimately great game imo, even though the phychics are a little wonky. As i kid i was amazed by how much you could do in this game lol. Even the DS version was great. I wish it was on steam
I played this game on the DS with my brothers when we were younger. We would do a race where one would be Luigi and the other two random cars and the cars would have to stop Luigi from winning no matter what😂 The desert track with the train tracks was hilarious cus there was a spot on the bridge where if you fell off you’d be hit with a glitch that indefinitely spawned you outside of the track until you got lucky and respawned back in. I loved this game.

You don’t know how FAST I CLICKED THIS I loved this game I beaten it all the way until the disc got dirty never to be played again. But I remember playing this for HOURS I’m a huge cars fan thankfully I found a Wii and hopefully a local GameStop has a copy of this game since they sell wii stuff.

Great video, this game is nostalgic and I remember playing it on my Xbox 360 man, those were good times, but I prefer Mater National because I had more fun with it, the 7th generation version of this game and the main 6th generation versions are ports with downgrades, this game had potential but I don't think it was what it seemed like those guido kart minigames are The physics are terrible and very buggy, especially on the dirt tracks. I thought it was a bug in the characters but it wasn't that they changed the physics of the cars to add that drifit system which is better than other games but this physics was not planned for the existing terrain causing these bugs. They could have remade these terrains to accommodate this new physics but for some reason they didn't, the physics is so poorly implemented that even on new terrains it gets buggy showing that they didn't have time to polish something else that pisses me off and that the cars in the stands continue to be 2D even though it's clearly possible to place 3D models, even if there were fewer of them, but they could do other things and the new characters don't have as much charisma, the only character that is saved and Candice, the other two don't justify it their roles in history. Speaking of the story, it is very shallow compared to the previous two games, their story was simple but at least they were interesting characters for me the story of the first game is much better and that of Mater National is almost as good as I know a game made for children but that doesn't mean the characters have to be silly I'll list them the points that I consider a hit and miss in Cars Race O Rama compared to Mater National and the Original. 1.Cars Race O Rama: a game that continues Cars Mater international championchip introduces new elements such as being able to customize parts of McQueen, new maps, new characters, new minigames, new drift system with the physics being made for it and brings the old Radiator Springs from Cars 1 with a remastered look. 2. Cars Mater International championchip: and a spin off/sequel to Cars 1 telling a story where mate runs an international tournament between racers from all over the world. introduces a new, smaller Radiator Springs with tracks Remade for better fun, improved graphics, new characters, new places like the Airport, new minigames and paintings. 3. Cars The Videogame:the first taking place after the first film and an arcade game with an open world that recreates iconic scenarios from the film, introduces characters and elements removed from the film and a progression system mini games nascar racing collectible monster trucks day and night map. I hope you understand my opinion
I completely understand and respect your opinion. For me the original holds a special place in my heart personally because it was the only Cars game I actually owned vs. renting out the other games for a few days because it was the cheapest way back then, so the first one was the only one I was able to actually sit down and complete and I loved it! The route of being like a non official sequel to the film was in my opinion brilliant.

I have the ds version and im currently trying the xbox version on emulator the ds version i not the same but its so cool with the secret zones and abilities !

It's pretty crazy too because this game is the only Cars game (aside from Cars 3) that isn't available on Steam.
Both the Console and the DS Versions are fantastic, especially the DS Version. And of course the music is just, on its own level
The DS Version Looks Awful Compared to the PSP which for some reason feels like a remaster version of the DS
