Is that your man cave it looks really good. In my youth I used a combination lock to secure my bike. No one stole my bike but once my combination lock was stolen. In the 70s I worked at GEC in Coventry. During a period of petrol rationing workers living in the Hinkley, Nuneaton and other areas arranged for private coachs to bring them to GEC works. It was a real success saved motoring costs and reduced traffic.
Last week I went with one of the grandchildren to Stanwick Lakes, near Wellingborough. A short cycle path leads us to the roundabout on the A45, which we needed to cross to get to the place, which includes part of the old Northampton to Peterborough railway track. We had a long long wait for a gap in the traffic. Most unpleasant. It seems much the same all over.
The bicycle lane on the 444 weddington lane both directions have a cycle lane that's not used very often by 🚴. And if you do get to Nuneaton town what do you do with your cycle ie no where to leave it securely. By the way like your channel keep up the good work.
There is a cycle lane the entire length of the Northern Perimeter Rd in Hinckley, hardly ever used, cyclists ride on the Rd insted and get in the way, exactly the same thing on Coventry Rd Hinckley. Total waste of money. Nothing against cyclists, used to be one, but the least they could do is use what is provided.
We’re doing quite well for cycle lanes in Coventry which I strongly support even though I rarely use them myself, but the number of negative comments and criticism they receive is disappointing.
John, I wonder if you might divulge which UA-cam action earns you the most "points"? Creators are always saying, "Like, comment, subscribe." Do those actions have weights? If I watch a particularly interesting video, I'd like to perform the action that gives a proper "reward" (i.e., what gives the creator the correspondingly valued credit). Oh, and what about "watching to the end?" Any additional value for that? Saying, "No" is also a suitable response.

And yet some people think the UK is somehow anti car ? Less Cars, Less pollution. less pot holes, less congestion, etc etc
I have cycled from Leicester to Nuneaton and thought the Long Shoot and Hinckley Road could do with a cycle path.

Thanks Leslie. Actually I use that cycle lane every time I take the Weddington Rd. True to say security in town is poor.
