This makes them very good options for VH. Some of them are: -Spear of Destiny's Piercing Shards -Might of the King's shockwave -Divine Retribution lazers -Anger of the Gods lazers The first two count for a lot. The last two are...okay by comparison (still miles better than slapping things for eternity with the nerfed Power% of say General Kratos and Hydra Armour). -Lahkesis can be forced into a projectile toss by activating the Amulet of the Fates. An infamous case is the GROGON false OS into guaranteed petrification (changes with GROGON type). Another case is the Hades Minotaur. False OS cancels them out of anything they are doing and will always force them to use their 2-hit combo. Have Typhon's Bane/Euryale's Head equipped, hold L2 after the false OS (you'll I-frame through the hit), strafe behind him, and wreck him. VaV over here approves. The last case is Legionarie Caps (both normal and Hades version). They just grab you back (BASED). -There are two versions of Orion's Harpoon (ground to air grab) on certain enemies. It goes by alt.OH (alternate Orion's Harpoon). You can execute it by holding "O" instead of tapping it. There are three types. 1) Orion's Harpoon into ground grab option select. This works on Fate's sentries, non-human archers, and Undead Legionaries. 2) Orion's Harpoon into 360 toss (full colission **50DMG on VH with a base of 10 on Normal**). Works on all harpies (NOT nymphs), wild boars, and Cerberus Seeds. 3) Orion's Harpoon into insta-kill. Works on all nymphs. -Getting hit gives Rage Points in this game. How fun. Such targets are the first phase of the Barbarian King (horse) and a Beast Lord riding a Berserker. Without spoiling the fun, let go a Charged Wind Blast and let the magic happen. Barbarian King's case will amuse you greatly. -Certain enemies can be looped to death by being launched and being juggled infinitely by Cronos' Rage. I'm not talking flying up as CR does it's thing. I'm talking they have a seizure and spasming on the floor like fish. Works on quite a few, but the most important are the Legionarie Caps, and High Priests of the Fates. I like to go to town with Barbarian Hammer heavies as I CR them. -You can bring the Undead Legionaries right before the Barbarian King back to life by hitting them with an attack that does less than 1DMG. Possible on VH with General Kratos/Hydra Armour with lvl1 Blades. -First and second Titan Minotaurs have sleep spots. They always use their multi-ground pound attack after waking up, which is a great opportunity to damage them (go under the right **his left** arm and DEW IT). Sleep spots are near the chests in their fight arena. -RotT reduces DMG taken by the translator. -You can skip Titan Minotaur 3's first phase with a specific set of steps. Link in the following reply (as YT takes issue with links at times). -You can ring-out the Legionarie Cap pre-Euryale near the save point by double launching with the Spear of Destiny, 'pursue' (hold T) and use air Piercing Shards. Same tactic can be used to ring-out the satyrs in the translator sequence (area for the ring-out is the circular bit where they spawn **do it on the right side which has a view of the spire**). I have demos for both in my runs, but it will be more fun to see it for yourself the first time. -Buffered launch after a block (show in the video) also exists in GoWIII.
Pretty well-known fact but STILL: Hercules was going to make a jokey appearance in the game. Kratos was gonna find him before Translator 1, you'd expect a cool fight like the other heroes because he's so popular, but he just gets crushed by a door super fast. The bit got cut, but at least Hercules stayed in the game as a skin. Good thing though, cause we got to properly FUCK HIM UP in 3!

2 facts about best game ever 1. When Atropos takes u back in time, you can see Kratos fighting Ares without Tattoos. 2. After Kratos “kills” Atropos by stabbing her head you can see Kratos holding the Blades of Chaos that is on Atropos head.
You can tell that they kinda rushed GOW2 to prepare for GOW3. Kratos is missing his fleece in a lot of scenes like in 4:54 and Kratos uses BOC other scenes as well, such as the Phoenix QTE.

The one about the golden fleece is one of the errors in GOW2 cutscenes, the game has a lot of them. Like in some of them, you can see Kratos having the blades of chaos which he doesn't have them in the game.
1st:idk if this counts but if you play on NG+ you can skip the whole typhon titan level by just shooting promitheus down with your bow. 2nd:not sure if its true, the lvl3 blade of olympus strikes lightning whenever you perform a light or heavy attack, if you perform a light or heavy while on air however i noticed that the lightning pushes you back a little as if it has recoil. ( i also noticed speed runners avoid upgrading it to lvl3 for the same reason propably)
It's the maxed blade of Olympus that does that. It's not exactly lightining just the blue projectile that one of the block moves have (block + triangle if memory serves) It's also the same projectile he uses against the colossus when you successfully drain Kratos' Godly powers into the Blade
I had a pirate copy of GoW 2 and I distinctly remember doing the blade of the gods fail state. In that copy,the gut wound on current time kratos glows opening up before he falls down.
The Ice Gauntlets Magic Move were the ice spheres surround you reminds me a lot of L1 + Square attack from the Claws of Hades, as well as the move "Man In Red" of the Dr Faust Hat in Devil May Cry 5.

I haven’t tried in PS2 but in the PS3 version of GOWII when you use Atlas Quake in the air, the rocks spreading animation will appear in the air and not in the ground. Not sure if it’s a glitch or on purpose, but it has always bugged me

actually there is an error in the cutscene where kratos goes back in time . the error is the blades of athena being blue instead of the red that it is for the rest of the game.

God of War II: When you fight the Barbarian King, at the cutscene (before the fight) Kratos doesn't has the blades of Athena instead he has the blade of chaos. Yes, that happens a lot of time during the game because the didn't fix it after testing the game in the final result, but this particular moment is special because it reminds that it was those blades that cut off his head (the Barbarian).

I’m not sure if This counts But, it’s actually debateble if Kratos saves Sparta by travelling backwards in Time, because Athena in GoW 3 claims that Kratos his summoning his fallen exilled brothers from Sparta with the Army of Sparta magic. Well, They kinda All die anyway in the end when Kratos Styles through Olympus, so maybe That’s irrelevant.
Some people actually theorized that Zeus leveling Sparta is their in universe version of the 464 BC Spartan Earthquake.
I haven’t tried in PS2 but in the PS3 version of GOWII when you use Atlas Quake in the air, the rocks spreading animation will appear in the air and not in the ground. Not sure if it’s a glitch or on purpose, but it has always bugged me

actually there is an error in the cutscene where kratos goes back in time . the error is the blades of athena being blue instead of the red that it is for the rest of the game.

God of War II: When you fight the Barbarian King, at the cutscene (before the fight) Kratos doesn't has the blades of Athena instead he has the blade of chaos. Yes, that happens a lot of time during the game because the didn't fix it after testing the game in the final result, but this particular moment is special because it reminds that it was those blades that cut off his head (the Barbarian).
