It's nice to hear that Ayan will go through the criticisms and will work on them in Part 2, because most of the bollywood directors are very egoistic to even consider that there is any flaw in the film..

@@sumo6199 how they recovered their budget.theatrical collection will be 50 percent to distributors nd 50 percent to them.so theatrically it is flop.i dont think so satelight right s ,music rights would be very much bcoz music wasnt that good.plus promotional cost they didnt include,even ranbir didnt take his fees.so producer will face some loss
29:12 glad she said Indian film industry. Malayalam movie "Minnal Murali" was made with a meagre budget(20cr) in comparison to Brahmastra, but the VFX was pretty good (very limited yet impressive). Hope this standard can be achieved throughout because there are still many movies which use average VFX and the end product is below average.
Ayan that's the issue only with dialogues.
You could have written dialogues from space of astraverse which includes modern love story then it would be better(Regarding first half love story only).
Anyways more energy and power to you to make second part megabuster🔥

I don't know why journalist are having Hard time to show him the reality that his story, screen play is very very bad. Dialogues are even worse.

Movie is not that good, it’s rather disappointing that they spent so many years to create such a subpar film. VFX is good but the rest of the movie is very underwhelming. If we keep praising mediocre movies like this we will only keep getting mediocre movies and our cinema won’t progress.
Negative aspects of the film:
- messy screenplay
- weak writing
- generic one-dimensional characters
- cringy dialogues
- love story was half-baked, too rushed and not impactful
- no emotional connection to story or characters
- plotline is derivative of hollywood fantasy series
- female lead reduced to damsel in distress (regressive and outdated trope)
- acting of ranbir and alia was mediocre
- songs were average
Not trying to hate the movie I’m just giving constructive criticism. The film was really not upto the mark and doesn’t deserve the credit it’s getting. Seems like they didn’t put much effort into anything except the VFX. I hope Ayan Mukherji realizes this and makes major improvements for part 2.
Alia character was restricted to part 1..only just as supporting girlfriend..second part mey uska real character reveal hoga
@@lakshimiakshithavoloju2006 Ayan said Isha is just supposed to be a positive happy girl and he hopes the audience accepts that (from his Indian Express interview). He didn’t have any plans for her character. He said Alia has never played a girl in love before so he wanted to give her that role (wtf? she’s done rom-coms before so his reasoning doesn’t even make sense). Isha is just a badly written character. Now with the criticism he is getting he might give her character more to do in part 2 but it’s clear he intended for her to just be a love interest. Very disappointing!
@@zuko_24568 if you observe some scenes ..they totally not revealed...jalastra ring has with alia...also when Siva dream about losing Isha..in real she survived through from that incident..these are we really don't no what exactly happened..but i agree with you i love onlytechinal part..alia nd ranbir are good actors..but there is something the sparkle is missing..because we already seen most videos of them in real life..i don't no..may be ranbir alia fans like them..also i really didn't emotionally connected with the characters...
