nice collection !!! i personally have the farm loader brochure of 1976 1977 1979 and 1980 ... i also still own my grandpas 1973 1120 diesel with 143 loader!!
We're getting to that age where we like reminiscing Tom...we're not old...we're getting to be classics! You bring back a lot of good memories of all what dealers used to put on; they built such a nice sense of community for farmers. I think Monroe Tractor and Nutrien still does it and maybe Empire Tractor?? Unfortunately most of that is dying bc you've got corporate bean-counters running everything now, like at Land Pro...they care more about profits for shareholders than the customer or community...sorry for the negativity, but compared to what we grew up with, the new world really chaps my ass.
I agree with you, we always enjoyed visiting with our friends and neighbors at those events, it’s a shame we don’t have the chance anymore. Even most auctions are online so we can’t even catch up at those. Thanks for the comments Ed!
I use to collect all the Ford, Ford-New Holland and Case, Case-IH brochure as a kid from about 84 till mid 90's and lost the lot and my ertl collection in a house fire. Just got my late father's collection of Ford tractor's that starts from the fordson major up till afew years ago. Have replaced the ertl collection thou. 🇳🇿👍🏻🍻🚜
Happy Easter, Tom. Just yesterday was looking through some old papers, and found the Operators Manual for the 4020 we used to have. Crazy that it was only 50 pages front and back!
Interesting collection liking it, i big collection i use grab different ones at dealerships or field days. I got every MF combine or headers we can them here in Australia, from SP 3342 to current model just missing 860/865. Been Case IH 2188 to current model just missing redtop 8010 which we have rrrrrrrrrr 😢. Got couple Catapillers n Claas, few Gleaners n NH. I don't have big collection of tractors unfortunately. I remember buying CaseIH cap in mid 80's of 1680 which i lost rrrrrrr but my neighbour had got one which i had seen before he pass way, telling i brought it.
@@Thewaywefarm where i from our fields are small, our farms aren't big wether its cropping or dairies. Family farm is 3000 acres, volcanic soil black/red, we grow wheat, canola, barley, oats, faba beans, tricale cant grow chickpeas or corn because cooler, frost environment in nth central Victoria. But where i work in NSW, working on 2000 acres dairy milking 1200 cows in 28 double up. Most of farm is circle pivot fields where corn silage, grass is grown.
I’m a ‘77 model. Still using those tractors that are in your brochures. We are all classics now. 😁
No kidding! That’s scary 😧
Great collection. 👍👍
Thanks Jason.
I remember JD days, all the local dealers used to do some kind of open house / free food day.
I miss them. The good old days!
Used to go to them and in 79 won a door prize a 70 G weed eater grass trimmer,
@@sodbuster518able That’s a great door prize!
Blue Boy pop was definitely a Western NY item. Greetings from Lancaster NY
Thanks Bob.

Thanks for watching and the comments. Agriculture in Australia fascinates me. We work small fields compared to your country.

@@JimmyShields-z2h Very interesting, your country is diverse like the US is. Thanks for letting us know.

I almost mentioned him, that funny when we were little. 😂
