I always never knew what they were all about but last year it became tough and especially at times this year their music really has helped me feel better and made me a better person to the point of where I’m at currently. My dad and sister got me this album for my 18th birthday, neither of them knowing anything about this genre or modern metal. They will never know or understand how much they helped me in the years to come from grabbing this album on a limb... These guys really have saved my ass more than I could ever count, helped me break before I hit breaking point. The closest band to Amity that has done that for me is Parkway Drive and I don't think there will ever be another band like them imo.

This band is one of my all time favorites. This is a flawless album (and all of their records are fantastic). There's heavy emotion within the music and the vibe is sorrowful but somehow consistently uplifting. I can't quite explain it but it's like the members are always saying "I know that life isn't always great, but you were given a life to live with challenges to face. Not everyone gets a happy ending but it's worth giving it your all."

They're 2 different genres dude. PWD is my fav and TAA are my second, I've seen both of them live. I can tell you while they're similar, and PWD does do it better, TAA is still good live. Ahren is not bad at all.
