Thanks for the video. I have 43 different varieties of Caudex . I have found a vendor in Thailand that gives me great prices and very large “bulbs”… I love Caudex I use regular potting soil add perlite and charcoal and they all love it. Have also had them do very well in regular potting soil. They are not too picky from my experience.
Your Phyllanthus mirabilis is so beautiful! I’m definitely getting one 😍 i have a massive caudex collection. Over 40 Stephania LOL and i have a sinningia coming soon 🥰
I never really liked the caudex plants but your phyllanthus mirabilis is miraculous. The leaf shape and the form of its branches is just so pretty. Very bonsai-esque. If you don't have the squeezy bottle you can use a turkey baster.
I just discovered the sinningia leucotricha on Instagram the other day. I think it's a sign that you showed it today. I must find it! 🤗💚 Thank you for sharing your tips! I almost bought a caudex plant but backed off when I realized I had no idea how to care for it. I'll get one this coming spring. 💖
Beautiful collection! I love the soft fuzzy leaves on the sinningia, so sweet. I will be on the look out for that one. Thanks so much for posting, looking forward to next time!
Such unusual plants. I have just binged watched all your videos from your first one over the last couple of weeks. I have really enjoyed them so much and learnt a lot thanks. One thing that I really appreciate is the fact that you put the latin name on the screen. That has been so useful for me so I can learn more about a plant if I feel like trying to find one and then care for one. I also love your self painted pots, I am going to have a go as I have a lot of acrylic paint, and could have some fun :) Thanks for all your amazing content. From England x
I think you encouraged me to get the stephania erecta a month or so ago. It's still just the caudex, no growth (going into winter I didn't expect anything). I've never owned a caudex plant so thanks for the inspiration :) I have a grow tent that I put it in with 70-85% humidity so who knows maybe it will do something.
So pretty!! Hope the rain goes away soon for you and the sun comes back. Would love to see the 2nd part of the houseplant tour. :) What kind of fertilizer/brand do you use for the caudex plants and how much?
thank you for this video! my phyllanthus mirabilis just arrived this week - do you have a specific ratio you like for your bonsai mix? I have lava rock, pumice, and bonsai block. do you do equal parts of each? for fertilizing, do you use something that is meant for passive of semi hydroponics are a general liquid houseplant ferilizer that's diluted? I can't wait to get this lil baby potted up!
Hi:) Thank you for your video! What kind of fertilizer do you use? There are different types and I would like to know wether it is best to use a special fertilizer for succulents🌵
Thank you for sharing, I am one of those that requested for this plant care tips video. My Phyllanthus Mirabilis is growing thin stem and lengthy stem with tiny leaves, wonder if i should cut it off and will it grow new shoots? I live in a all summer country, wonder what's is like when the plants go dormant?
Your Caudex plants are so lovely! Do you know if the bulb/tuber of stephania erecta will grow? Or does it stay the same size and only the foliage grows?
Sadly as of recently Phyllanthus mirabilis can no longer be imported into the US. It requires a two year quarantine, otherwise customs will deny entry. I had it happen to me, apparently it can potentially harbor some type of pest.
Your phyllantus is so pretty!! I just got one the other day as well :) However, I noticed that its leaves have been quite droopy...would you have any idea why it's doing that? Thank you so much!
Yo my uncle had one and it would usually do this before it went dormant. The leaves wouldn't even go yellow, they would just fall off. I wouldn't worry if I were you, so long as the caudex is firm and the right colour:) good luck bro!
I havent witnessed it growing larger but it grows back differently each time. I think (and I could be wrong) the caudex itself does get larger with age but that happens very very slowly.
I just got a mirabilis , i placed it in a sunny south-facing window. I moved it to a bigger ceramic pot bec the roots were completely out of the pot. I watered a tiny tiny bit. Its been 3 days now and the leaves closest to the bulb has turned yellow. What am i doing wrong? Or is it just going dormant for winter? Thanks!
I'm considering to purchase a Phyllantus Mirabilis because one of my favorite online shops has them back in stock. Do you think November would be a good time to purchase one or should I wait until next year? Thank you for the video 😊👍
Thanks for the video.

Wow 43! I know your collection is beautiful. Hmm, I may have to get in touch with my Family in Thailand to send me some 😊

Love the peaceful music, calming voice and the contrast of the sirens and big city background.

I just got myself a “ pony tail “ palm ! This video came at the right time ! 💚
I am in love with the Caudexes!!
I've been wanting to get my first caudex plant for quite awhile (other than the desert rose) They are so unique and beautiful. 🌱❤🌱 Thank you.
This video would be absolutely perfect.....if I had one of these beauties~😭😅💕🥰
They are all so pretty! I hope to find one of these, they will teach me to be a more patient person.
They are a real test of patience!
Thanks so much for sharing!!! I just love any plants that have a caudex!!!

Hi! Just want to ask what kind of fertilizer youre using for your caudices?
Your Caudex plants are so lovely! Do you know if the bulb/tuber of stephania erecta will grow? Or does it stay the same size and only the foliage grows?
Almost as fascinating as watching paint dry.
Thank you for this helpful video :)
This plants have tubers look so healthy ! how to growing them?
Beautiful!
Sadly as of recently Phyllanthus mirabilis can no longer be imported into the US. It requires a two year quarantine, otherwise customs will deny entry. I had it happen to me, apparently it can potentially harbor some type of pest.
I just got one! The price of the plant did include a certificate to say it was free of that pest. I didn't have to do anything other than purchase it.
Your phyllantus is so pretty!! I just got one the other day as well :) However, I noticed that its leaves have been quite droopy...would you have any idea why it's doing that? Thank you so much!
which plant do you think it's good for beginners to try?
so beautiful! my phyllantus is dropping older leaves close at the base of the stems even while still growing new leaves. Is this normal?
Yo my uncle had one and it would usually do this before it went dormant. The leaves wouldn't even go yellow, they would just fall off. I wouldn't worry if I were you, so long as the caudex is firm and the right colour:) good luck bro!
Hey Stacy, can yoj do an update on your Phyllanthus Mirabillis please? :)
Hi! I love your Stephania legged pot! Please share where can I get one :)
Hi Stacy, do these grow larger each growing season? I absolutely love your videos. Your voice is amazing and soothing.
I havent witnessed it growing larger but it grows back differently each time. I think (and I could be wrong) the caudex itself does get larger with age but that happens very very slowly.
how big did u let the stephania sprout when u decided to remove it from the humidity dome?
Oh I'm so sad you don't know where the pot for the Sinningia is from. It's so so so cute...
I think the ceramicist might be this person! instagram.com/rain_ceramics?igshid=hnza4qm5mxgx
@@pinkseraphim Thanks so much, oooh they're so cute!
Do you cut the stems off when they go dormant?
If you dont like the look of fading leaves its okay to cut it back, otherwise the leaves and stems will yellow and fall off naturally 👌🏼
Where did you get the 3 legs ceramic pot for your caudex?
I just got a mirabilis , i placed it in a sunny south-facing window. I moved it to a bigger ceramic pot bec the roots were completely out of the pot. I watered a tiny tiny bit. Its been 3 days now and the leaves closest to the bulb has turned yellow. What am i doing wrong? Or is it just going dormant for winter? Thanks!

Which online website sells them? I've been on the hunt, is it american based?
@@MoonBabeLoves No, I'm sorry. The shop is based in Germany 😅
I think its fine to purchase in November.
@@mypetitegarden thank you very much 😊❤️
