Wow, she needs a diet!
Has any dogs refused your treatment?
It's so sad to see how neglected some animals really are by their parents it's just something for them to look at instead of being an actual living organism that needs love attention and discipline.. Very very saddening
That’s a cute dog, but I feel so sad for the pup.
So many people fail to realize that your dog is not meant to be overweight whatsoever! It causes them so many issues and pain in the long run. Keep your dog healthy!
It's weird cuz my dogs not even active but he isn't over weight, like how does this happen? What are they doing to get chubby doggies? Lol
@@gozzilla177 feeding too many treats probably and not decreasing their dog food when they do so. Or just giving them too much dog food. Some people don’t even adjust their dog food according to their dogs activity levels. If my dogs go on a hard run, they can have more food than usual but not a lot more. If they don’t do anything that day, they get less according to their body weight.
@@gozzilla177 too many treats or wrong and too much food
I completely agree!!
It’s not always caused by overeating or neglect. Small female dogs, after being fixed, do have a chance of being overweight. I have two chihuahuas. My girl eats less than my boy, and exercises the same amount. She’s just bigger. We’ve tried everything from changing her diet, to medication. Nothing really helps. She goes for her regular vet visits, and since it isn’t causing any problems as she ages she isn’t really at risk.
Her not wanting to stand is probably not all due to laziness, her weight must hurt the joints in her tiny legs. Poor babe 💙
That's a very kind and empathetic observation you made. It's not her fault she's overweight, and as anyone who's ever been overweight knows, it's hard on your body, no matter how you ended up that way. Poor thing just needs to have a healthier diet so she can lose enough weight to be comfortable standing.
I wish people would realize they can still give their dogs treats, just lighter ones like carrots or plain popcorn. The dogs might complain about the change at first because they aren't used to that kind of food, but eventually they will be eager to get them and see them as special treats if you stick to healthier foods. Like how a person who has always had unlimited access to chocolate can't really appreciate the sweetness of a strawberry.
PSA: letting your pets get overweight like this is abuse.
My dog loved food, and when she got very old she also got cancer, refused to go on walks and then she became overweight. The extra fat on her body gave her a few more weeks before her tumors stole her nutriens and caused her to die.
Chubby is ok, obese is bad. And some people doesn't know better, they need some educaction
@@BUNNY_GUTZ quite the different situation and doesn’t allow apply to what they said
Remember folks, not all pups that get adopted/rescued are in great shape. Some come from bad owners or even no owners and are with new better owners now
My mom has a friend that would feed her miniature poodle KFC two times a day, needless to say the dog had high blood pressure and diabetes and ended up dying way before he should’ve. 😢
Oh my gosh I can’t imagine what the kfc did to her..Some people don’t deserve to have these beautiful creatures.
Well let's hope he gets his fill of chicken in heaven
@@Lily-xk4ss Yeah, even people need to exercise that stuff off and only have it occasionally. That's friggin' dog abuse.
You made her look adorable. Great lesson, do not overfeed your dog even if they look at you with those adorable eyes. Your animal depends on you for good decisions.
people truly dont understand how difficult grooming is, im glad you show them
It was so cute when she climbed out of the tub with the towel on her head 🥺
She’s so cute, why are her humans not taking better care of her?
They actually are.. they sent her to have her excess fur shaved off, to make her more comfortable...isn't that.. responsible? For a dog owner to do?
Edit: even though I can't say much for the overwheight.. maybe her owners are people who also can't exercise much due to a sickness or old age? :/
Most old people I know, don't like to walk or to move that much, I'm talking 70, 80, 90 or more..
@@juskitcarol7028 gotta b honest if theyre feeding her shes obviously well kept like look at her
@@juskitcarol7028 True, but there are ways around it - pay or ask someone to help walk her for you. Teach her to bring the ball so they can at least play fetch to get her moving. Clearly a diet wouldn’t hurt either 🙈 walking isn’t the only way to reduce her weight. But I agree, she clearly is loved and the intention is there
@@brownperson4061 being overweight can also been seen as neglect due to the health issues with it, I'm not saying these owners mean to overfeed her but I am saying that both under and over can be seen as neglect
@@juskitcarol7028 That dog is so small she wouldn't even need to be walked to stay a healthy weight. It's nothing but irresponsible over feeding
My favorite part is this video and many of your others is the honesty. Sadly, this dog is overweight and I’m glad you don’t dance around to simply educate the unknowing!
That angle of her peeking her head out of the tub with the towel over head was so preciouse,🥰🥰🥰🥰
😂 She refused to stand! But you still cleaned her up and made her beautiful, your awesome! 😀
No, she wasn't able to stand because of how over weight the little dog was.
@@Midnight_Luna3097 Yeah your right. That must have been a hard dog to groom. 😬
These little terriers are my favorite kind of dogs...so I love this little thing!
How beautiful she looks! Mom and dad please help her get healthier to live longer
Poor baby. I hope the vet. addresses this problem with the owners. I hope they love their dog enough to work on her weight.
Okay but the way she peeked her lil noggin up when you were towel drying her was just, awwwww 🥺
She is a chub chub !
You've done a great job with her!!
She's my favorite so far I want to see more of her
She looked beautiful at the end. Favorite transformation here
Favorita part is when she stands up with the towel on her head 😍😍😍
This is heartbreaking. Shame on the owners.
How is this heartbreaking? You have no idea how those owners treat their dog. Sometimes dogs are genetically predisposed to obesity, just like humans. Your being judgmental over something you have no context about. I’ve had a chunky dog and he was always very happy, just lazy. You sound like an absolute ❄️.
@@jeremyharrington8310 and you don't sound like a responsible pet owner. I have volunteered in veterinary clinics and animal shelter since I was 8 years old (my mom arranged for the local vet to let me shadow her on the weekends and it took off from there.) So I have seen this a lot, and I've had multiple vets at different clinics say there is NO excuse for an obese animal. It is different than a human, because a dog cannot learn the facts of what this will do to their health and make an informed choice like a person can. It is OUR responsibility to care for them and make healthy decisions for them as their caretakers.
I have never seen an animal with a genetic predisposition to obesity not have an effective treatment plan be possible. We have medications that can help, low fat dog foods, high exercise regimens, etc. Meanwhile obesity in dogs puts incredible strain on their joints causing pain they often will mask so their owners never know while they suffer in silence. It increases heart disease and failure, and it decreases life expectancy. It is cruel, it is preventable, and it is wrong. There is no excuse, it does not have to be this way. If you cannot take care of your animal's Healthcare needs completely than you shouldn't have them at all.
@@jeremyharrington8310 hello! as a current vet student and someone who worked in rescue for 6 years now, those reasons youve mentioned is exactly why the owners arent great! they should get to know their dog and recognize the signs of obesity, this animals health is clearly blatantly ignored, that dog should not be over 20 pounds and looks about 30. a 10 pound difference in small dogs is like 100 for humans. you yourself are a poor dog owner, as your pet sounds as if they are unhappy. an unactive dog is an unhealthy dog, with exceptions to old dogs in pain, among other medical issues. i do reccomend you inform yourself before owning a pet! this is why dogs are in the top 5 for most abused animals, right next to birds, rodents, and reptiles
Shame on owners? They pay to get the dog groomed, they obviously care about it.
@@cormey8772 please read the reply above from myself and Kaneda. If I neglect my dog's health and then get it a haircut it doesn't make me a good owner.
This is a precious chubby baby !!!!
HOW IS SHE SO ADORABLE
She is so frigin cute! I do feel bad that she is overweight and hope she gets better but she doesn't seem like she is unhappy I hope this little jellybean goes on to live a long happy life. And her looks are ICONIC

She is Not chubby just PRECIOUS BABY! BEAUTIFUL😍❤😘🤗🐕😍
Oh my goodness, a real gremlin at the end! I love her!
To everyone in the comments who are saying “why aren’t they taking better care of her” we honestly don’t know what the owners are doing with their dog at home they could have her on a diet while trying to get her to lose weight so honestly we can’t say that they aren’t taking good care of her just by the looks of this lovely grooming video, so please don’t assume that they aren’t trying to get her to lose weight.
Lmao her swinging there 😂 a mood
She is too cute! Great job!

OMG I LOVE HER
Love this chubby puppy. 😍
:-)
She sure is a chubby cutie pie. Love your videos. Tanks for sharing.
aww he is so cute!
It's so sad, consistently overfeeding pets is abuse, it puts them in constant pain from joints etc, and kills them years early
No, it's not the dogs fault
Even if they beg for or steal food, they don't buy it, lock cupboards if you have to . If you don't have time to walk them properly why did you selfishly get a dog ??
Awww little doggy!!!♥️♥️♥️☺️😊😄😲
I love ur videos and the puppers getting groomed. Will done all.
my favorite part was the trim such a adorable transformation 💕
