My favorite way now is an instant pot. HOWEVER with a normal pot put in the rice, salt and water. Stir. Bring to a boil. Put the lid on and take it off the heat. Wait 15-20 minutes depending on how much you have in there. When the times up I always add some butter and fluff it up from there.
