Colocasia leaves fry /Bajjile Pathrado
Pathrado is the king of Konkani cuisine.
It is prepared using colocasia leaves that are smeared with a spicy, tangy rice and coconut paste. It is then rolled and cut into roundles so you can see the layers of the stuffing.
There are many ways of making it. Here I have posted my mother's recipe.So do try

First time saw Tawa fry without steaming. Result looked excellent .

We steam the patrado and then cool it and later shallow fry it like you did....I have never tried this...so will do it the next time...a quick recipe

We do it by steaming first and then shallow frying with rawa coating.
