- This is an up to date Guild Wars 2 guide covering everything you need to know about the Elementalist. This video shows off all of the weapons the Elementalist can use and looks at all of the individual weapon skills. It also has a look at all of the healing, utility & elite skills the Elementalist has at it's disposal. It then goes on to look at the core specializations the Elementalist has and what each individual trait does for your character. The video finishes with a short combat demonstration with a basic Elementalist build so you can see what it looks like when it all comes together.

You should try WoW... I had active 40+ hotkeys as a PvP mage including only basic macros (with alt druid even more). Cooldowns average around 10 sec, imagine that... I just started elementalist and its a piece of cake once you get used to the unlogical keys (earth AoE key 2, fire AoE Key 5 etc...)
@@Wratisak oh, "imagine" playing wow😒 literally just spamming frostbolt, polymorph and a glacial spike every 10 years or so...

I've just started playing this game, and it's insane how many abilities/skills this class has. I'm definitely going to be having a lot of fun with the Elementalist.

one small thing to note is that when you're showcasing glyph of storm and summon elementals, you should at least cast them on different attunements at least once to show what they look like. But yea, other than that, great job creating this vid ^^

I been told its prolly one of the toughest class to master ..... another reason I am about to play this as my second toon (necro currently at lvl 75) .... I might suck most likely haha but it looks pretty fun and I like tougher challenges ... very helpful video :)
It will take some getting used to, especially as there is a lot more to learn than with the Necro but as long as you enjoy it, that's what matters 😃

I just started playing a few days ago, and I really wanna end up playing Weaver, but this game is gonna make my head explode. T_T

you need to pay money to get the weaver subclass, really sucks that we need to pay to unlock it

Has the specializations changed at all? Some look different than the ones I’m seeing right now (2021, Sep 5th)? Air seems to be the same which is good cuz it’s the main specialization for tempest but fire and water seem to be quite different now… can we get an update on the specifications? Thanks!
I’m gonna switch. I’ve been looking for someone to play. Been through their, warrior and revenant and none of them give me the aesthetic look in combat I desired. They seem to basic to me. But this gives me super hero vibes lol

A lot of basic levelling builds for the ele use the staff ☺️ check out this build as it's pretty basic and should help get you on the right track 😃

Played Warrior ages ago, returned and was extremely lost, so i decided to level up one from scratch.
Was between the Mesmer and Elementalist, made up finally my mind for Mesmer, while i appreciate having so many skills. I think this is just a bit too much. Feel like there are also many overlaps and all. Also not too much of a fan of Electricity based skills, would have prefered Wind instead.
In any case though, the WEAVER, seemed extremely interesting, mixing spells and stuff. But sorry, the Mirage Mesmer is calling me.
As another note though. I think the Elementalists spells look way more updated graphically than the Mesmer (of course they are more elaborated), so its probably the class that gets dated the fastest.
mostly tempest bunker builds on wvw and the occasionnal suicidal weaver...
Pro tip, go to golem in fractals to show off skills etc, no annoying players to disturb

How to aim the aoe and release by clicking again. Now when i release the button it already drops
This can be changed in the game settings 😃 should be a few options to choose from and pressing again to cast is one of them!
But What about the Elite Specs... Wielding a Sword and a Warhone, I saw that you can do that, so what's with that?

So- Speaking as a person who hasn't played any MMORPG in years, and started with the Ele class, it's really really fun to use when you've figured out the skill combos you like using in combat, but damn, cycling through the attunements gets really tedious at times KSKSKSKS

@@HeroicFlamingo btw I don't know what I did but I lost ability 4 and 5 from the hand dagger for electricity. I was experimenting with something and somehow I lost it.
Very strange! Your 4 and 5 ability will be defined by your off hand weapon so do you definitely have dagger equipped in the off hand? Bear in mind that you can equip a dagger in your main hand and off hand so you'll need 2 daggers to get all 5 skills. Check in your equipment section of your hero panel to make sure you have it equip in your off hand and that you have the right weapon set active. Let me know if this sorts it out!

Hey there i was wondering if it's possible to get enough hero points to get ALL the skills available for the elementalist?
like all specializations, utility skills, healing skills?
So just by leveling to level 80, you will have enough hero points to unlock all of the skills and base specializations so don't worry about not being able to 😃

That's a soulbeast (ranger elite spec) merged with a smokescale pet.
I've seen elementals having multiple lessor & greater elementals, (up to 3 of each), at the same time, how is this achieved? Thanks!
I assume they would put multiple elemental utility skills on as well as the elite! Give it a go and see how many you can get 😃
@@Nmwhat also, in air traits there is glyph cd reduction so you can have 4 lesser elementals and the elit
ive sen people use two elements at once, and also ride the rock and become a water bubble etc is that dlc r base gaem because im base game but want to become the avatar also using two elements at once would have awesome opportunities
So these abilities are unlocked with elite specializations which become accessible with the expansion packs 😊 The Weaver will allow you to attune to two elements at a time and The Tempest will let you overload your attunements and use those cool abilities you described! @@HeroicFlamingo is that the same with stuff like necromancer. I heard necromancer are situation like classes but they have a ghost Knight kinda and they can do high damage and tank a bit.

I've picked up GW2 again and I actually want to buy the game and I'm still not sure which profession to boost to level 80. I'm between the Elementalist, Mesmer, Necromancer and even considering the Revenant. I already have a lv 35 Guardian which I want to level up on my own.
I've watched all of your guides and all seen even cooler. Do you have any suggestions?
That's awesome man! Well you've managed to list my two favourite professions there which are the Mesmer and Necromancer 😃 if you're looking for something completely different from your Guardian which can be a bit more difficult to learn and is quite squishy while using predominantly ranged weapons, go Mesmer. If you want something a bit tankier and easier to learn with a good mix of both ranged and melee options, go Necromancer 😃
I have been leveling my first character as elementalist. Dont see why people say its one of the hardest class to play. Im only lv 37 atm but its so dam easy when i have 3 lesser fire elementals and one fire elemental. 4 Elementals tanking while my DoTs burn the enemys down, i just run around and dot enemys with big 10+ mob pulls =D
That's awesome man 😃 I think it's mainly because there are a lot of skills to learn as you have all 4 elements but I'm glad it's working well for you!

Its an outfit bought in the gem store :)
bruh gw2 armors dont matter its only for stats, since all uses outfits, most are for gems so pay to get, others can be got from events and quests

@@SH3LLHeAD yep its outfit and i have no idea what it is, there is thousands of diferent ones, so even creator of video might forgot its name :DD just search outfit market in game and youll find one you like
