I have to disagree with your assessment of Trezor. I don’t accept their rationale for not introducing SOLANA support. It’s basically anchored to ETH and it’s pile of tokens.
The Ngrave is great for security but struggles for coin support. One that’s interesting is the Arculus wallet - precisely because it doesn’t require batteries.
Ledger LIED to their customers when they said it would be "physically impossible" for the seed phrase to leave the Secure Element chip, and then releasing a service that would "extract" the seed phrase from the chip and send it to third parties... the key thing with that situation is that Ledger lied and made it clear it cannot be trusted.
Yes, Ledger lied and fumbled the PR and compromised some of their devices ... Also Ledger - the company has been hacked (their device has no known hacks or exploits). Yet with the "back door" added by Ledger and a lack of trust - why would anyone buy anything from them? Security is not optional.
It's important to note that EAL7+ on engrave zero is for software only, while its hardware is EAL5+. And the reason for light detection is to achieve true RNG, so it cannot be predicted

There is a BTC only - hardware wallet - air-gapped that looks interesting - and it has several redundant chips (or vendors) - in case - for some odd reason the chip vendors are not 100% above board. Has Coin Bureau done a video regarding Estate planning with Crypto in mind AND hard wallets? For example, if a biometric feature is used as part of 2FA and the original owner is dead, then will the beneficiary in a will or trust be able to open the hardware wallet or not? Firstly, there is no absolutely secure hardware wallet, as all have the potential to be hacked, with the difference lying in the time it takes to breach them. In terms of the number of chips, Keystone may be the most secure, with hackers potentially taking a dozen years or more to hack it lol.

I have Ledger Nano X and I am seriously considering switching to Trezor. Glad they released Trezor Safe 3 which is the perfect combination of price & quality.

That’s a non-issue, you don’t have to bring your specific device with you. All you need is your seed phrase and you can purchase a new device anywhere.
First time I bought the nano x, it was broken and didn’t charge correctly. The nano s plus doesn’t need a charger and is only on when connected via usb-c. Don’t go overboard on crypto products because crypto isn’t the kind of industry you need to go nuts on.
I don't like Hardware Wallets. At least if they work with a Single Private Key. I prefered using Multisig - tho i'm now switching to more versatile and universal MPC (TSS).

For me the keystone is the best, had it a good while now and its never failed me, its not usb so no chance of going corrupt. It doesn't support some of the crypto I have so I use metamask with the keystone pro to sign transactions. Couldn't be happier.
lol a cold wallet means the seed never see the internet, trust wallet show the seed on the phone also you have no display to control the transactions adress.

I like it. I have a Ledger, Tresor and D-Cent. I also have Tangen. Tangen is very simple and has a vast array of crypto. My only complaint is they do not support HBAR. Tresor is very limited with very few crypto currency’s listed. D-Cent, I judge allot by customer service or lack of it. D-Cent is the worst. I sent an email to D-Cent 6 months ago. No reply at all. I sent another, again no answer. To me Tangen wins. I do have concerns about Ledger.
I have a Trezor Model T and a Ledger Nano X. Tangem 2.0 Wallet is the simplest wallet I've ever used. Setup in literally 5 minutes. It's open source, ELA 6+ security. The seed never leaves the card. If you're old school you can generate a seed phrase too. This is the only hardware wallet I'd recommend to ppl new to crypto. I take the simplest method by letting the device generate my seed phrase and storing my backups in different locations. The price of these wallets along with the top notch security makes them a no brainer for me.

Brother there's tons of videos on UA-cam on how to do this. Just find the tutorial for whichever cold storage you have. You want detailed explanations of that. This is just a general video explaining options

Keystone has 3 security chips, in terms of security I think keystone is the best, plus it has a fingerprint scanner
