I worked on the combine prototype and production back in 98. John deer power plant and cabs. Neat stuff . Learned so much and set records on part manufacturing at plant. Jimmy adams came by to watch me work and shook him head in approval. Was fun times.
I work at Birdsong Peanuts at a buying point in Sylvester Ga. We dry ours to 10.5%. I run the dryers at night all night. Learned how to drive a tractor and finally loving the job I do.
Love your posts! Peanut farming is something that I knew nothing about before. The wind though, makes listening difficult. Please Ask other u tubers about how to lesson the effects. Great job!!
@conleybanman Gotcha. I was surprised that it's not bushels to the acre! We're all corn, soybeans and wheat so I find it really interesting. That peanut combine must be beast built machine. Looks like it has to deal with a lot of dirt running through it
Built pretty tough yes rocks can go through the combine and doesn’t affect it too much. But it is a weak engine. Sadly they don’t make yield monitors for these combines so you gotta wait till the semis weigh at the scales so that’s why pounds
My dad grew up farming in west Texas / eastern New Mexico. How far from friona Texas or Clovis New Mexico are y'all located. I'm definitely gonna show him your videos... He grew up from the age of 8 driving row crop John Deeres on one mile sections... Thanks for providing a modern look to the stories I grew up hearing.
you think your buggy cart guy struggles. there were times this summer where I was in the grain cart that is 1300 bushel and three s780s in 190 bushel barley. I have bnever been so stressed

Great video, thanks for all the important work you and other farmers do!
Where would we be without farmers?
Answer: We would would die a slow and painful death by starvation.
Thank you so much Conley. Love your videos!
The topics you choose are very interesting and useful. Hope you will make more videos like this!"
Good evening Conley. Pleased to see it's going well for you. 👍

Hello 😊
How big is the field ?
👌👌
Hello from Amarillo thank you
You should check how they check peanut straw and bale it in Australia in Queensland they bale straight at back of harvestorcombine
Keep it up Conley
Should consider converting a set of those LED lights into fog-lights. Yellow lenses work much better in low-vis conditions.
Good video Conley
Really good video. Thanks
What's a good yield for peanuts? They look thin or was that the edge or am I not understanding?
A good yield is around 6,000 pounds an acre but you definitely don’t achieve that every year

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌
Glad the yield is better than you expected
Peanut harvesting is just so interesting
It’s a lot different than corn

Little over 100 miles south
Awesome Conley..... What do you do with the scraps that are baled?
Sell it to local dairy’s
@@conleybanman do they feed it to cows?
Yup
@@conleybanman I'd like to try it with my cattle but no peanuts anywhere close to me... I put up 900 round bales of alfalfa this year.
What is the Rate of peanut?
what was the production of this area of the video?. hug from a peanut producer from Brazil.
Faz um vídeo mostrando pra onde vai depois da colheita
Hey do you use inter cultivation for weed control?
Not if we don’t have to we don’t like to mess up the residuals that we sprayed on the field
peanuts, get your peanuts.... lol
Here we go boys !
Thank you bha khuda Hafiz

But it’s a lot funnier than 20 bushels 😅
Every year we do peanut harvesting at this time but this year there has been a delay of one month due to rain in India.
Nice ,I hope if I can work with you 😥❤
yeah when we swath we split mile runs across and work 1/2 that way carts dont run as far, compaction n stuf
Oh yea makes sense luckily our soil doesn’t have bad compaction issues
peanut harvesting in India is just a month late
Get a wind blocker on your equipment. This video is almost unwatchable.
