Wow.. absolutely stunning.. I'm learning techniques from you each and every video I watch. I love how you incorporate so much creativity into each art piece you work on.
Have been study art for years, did that on uni later and worked on Damien's Hirst big scale projects as a metalworker (lots of welding) and havent seen something like it. It has enormous potential. Just stick with abstract and work on composition. Go up with scale. You will appreciated more than you imagine. Take a shot with art galleries. Just do not go there with dragons and keep the artistic media within pure metalwork. It's very inspiring
You are truly an amazing artist! I believe one of your videos you said doing this for about 18 years. I know guys who have been tigging for many many years and could never do this kind of Art work Again Truly Amazing keep up the Great work Love the videos 👏👏👏
Wow man, you make my daily work look like child's play 😱. Good job bro👍. Although I think the paint wasn't a good idea because you got the colours perfect with just your free hand on metal, it makes it look more identifiable as a weld job instead of art piece bought in a market. How do you control the width and height? Can you do something simpler in aluminium?
Got lots more art coming in aluminum and stainless;) And I want the look of an Art piece as well;) Happy you checked the video out! I appreciate hearing from you! Cheers my friend 🙏
How thick is that stainless? Super curious what you use for a heat sink as well while welding! I tried your weave technique that you showed in another video and I really like it! So easy to keep the consistency! Thanks for showing how to do it!
Hey Dusty. You have been a huge asset for my welding! Now I have a question and didn't know where to ask. I need to fasten some ss screen to a 1/8" edge of aluminum. The aluminum is a 10" circle with a disc of stainless fastened to it. Can this be done with tig? I'm thinking the aluminum would bond thru the holes in the screening. The holes are about 1/8" for one screen and another with 1/12" holes. All help greatly appreciated.
Wow that is really quite something. Your sketches are really good too. Do you have a video of how you got started on this path and why? I’m only asking because you look very young and seem to be having fun while being pretty successful.
Wow!!!. Fantastic piece of work. Love how the colours emphasise the 3d effect on the body. Must admit, I was a little scared when you started to put paint on jt😱 but it turned out amazing. I'm sure that your client will be over the moon with it. Keep up the great work. 👍
Thanks Paul! Yes I definitely take a deep breath when I’m standing over the piece with a can in my hand....😂 I’m glad you enj:) I appreciate you checking this one out! Cheers my friend!
Amazing. Always loved dragons. Not sure if it’s because I’m born in the year of the dragon or what. You really captured the essence of its spirit there id like to think.
Greetings from Turkey. Wonderful job! Congrats! A question : at around 3min.46 sec. , you do not use any feed stick. But at 3:53 you used the feeding stick. Well , please tell me , how do you manage that without feeding and what are the specs. of your welder? Thank you in advance bro!
Nice work the scales look great I would really like to see a dragon with the whole head and body formed of weld that would be a true work of art and would certainly pop !
U should do the entire thing from tig welding and learn to work the colors through the heat of the weld to make it more elaborAte. The sprAy paint is cheap.
Thanks Ryan! I was trying to get more colour, and the big one just makes everything gold😂 If I choke the gas coverage back and match my speed I get them colours🌈🌈🌈 Always a balance act for me😂🙏 Hope you’re well man and thank you for watching!
@@PacificArcTigWelding that's going to be the tough part about commission work. I have sold and given away some of the nicest stuff I've made. Sometimes it's really hard to let go but it's really cool knowing I'm not the only one that enjoys my work. I'm sure the person getting this art piece will love it.
Excellent idea/drawing/welding brother! Hope your holidays were good my man, good to see you again! Traded a welder in and got one for the long haul, Invertig 400 :) monster machine! I think I need to do another art piece myself. Been doing alot of aluminum lately. Been missing your vids for some stainless inspiration! Be blessed bud!
I’m not using pulse actually! I do a foot pump with the pedal. Each dab is literally sized by me as I go:) I basically set the machine to 80amps and off I go:) 🍻
Sick piece, man! I havent tried painting my plates yet just the frames. I was wondering how you mounted studs to the plate? Did you tack it or glue it?
fantastic video, is that a sharpened tungsten electrode you use as engraving tool.....your art is right on...as a Chinese Fire Dragon Birth Sign, I say Outstanding
First time I watched this and after the welding you said it was time for the paint. I thought WTF the welding itself had beautiful color why paint over that.
if you have a good compressor you should ditch that big ugly dremel for a little tiny pencil size air grinder. harbor freight has one for 30 bucks if you are a member of the buying club. They are very powerful for the size and have a lot more control
Craig .Only for the ones with a man card. No He's got a lot of tattoos. That artwork tattoo inspired And the way he lays his beads on the artwork. I think he can tat.
ik this video is old but how are you putting your hand on that without burning yourself, and why filler sometimes and no filler other times but it looks the same
Thanks for watching!🙏Check out another art piece here🔥 ua-cam.com/video/I6KYDpJHKlQ/v-deo.html
This is badass next-level stuff Dusty. Your control of the weld color on the Dragon's body is impeccable.
Thanks Michael! I’m really happy with how it was turning out as I went:) Thanks for watching!
Dusty, that is a beautiful piece! Love the combination of TIG art, spray paint, hand painted all with a wood background. Very good impressive!! 👌

WOW! Stunning!
How are you getting the double row of scales from a single pass??
All about that weave pass bro!
Amazing work! Your control over stainless oxidizing to get those colors is really impressive.
Thanks Chris! Lots of time spent practicing on scrap! Thank you for checking the vid! Hope you are well!
Dang, sweet! How many hours total??!
10-12...? Give or take...?🍻🍻🍻
That’s nuts man!!!! Good work
You strive for perfection! Not alot of people do that. Your work is amazing.

I see a lot of cup changes also. Is that to help with the color?
very unique style of art

Thanks bro! I get the ideas from the astral plane.....😂🍻
Love it Dusty! love and peace from the USA. Killer socks too!
Haha thanks Adam! I almost wear flops and sock just to see who comments on them😂🙏 Hope all is well with you!
That is sooo cool. Great job :D
Born on the year of the dragon 🐉 and my Birthday is the 8th
definitely be looking forward to seeing the work
🤯🤯🤯 no WAY!?thats crazy!
🤯🤯🤯 No WAY!? That’s a crazy coincidence! This ones for you then!😂
I meant the episode not the piece because it sold already 😂🙏
@@PacificArcTigWelding lol 😂 awesome work man 👍
Wow amazing
Another great art piece and video bro. Keep it up.
Nice work the scales look great I would really like to see a dragon with the whole head and body formed of weld that would be a true work of art and would certainly pop !
So dope!!! Looks so freaking good man. .
Thanks so much my friend! Hope you are well!
Beautiful
Love it so much ❤️
Thanks Jennifer! Thanks for hanging in the chat too!

Be nice to know how long you have to let’s this cool off? Before you can continue to weld on it?
Real smooth Dusty💯💯💯
Why did u change cups from a bigger cup to a smaller cup size?
Thanks Ryan! I was trying to get more colour, and the big one just makes everything gold😂 If I choke the gas coverage back and match my speed I get them colours🌈🌈🌈 Always a balance act for me😂🙏 Hope you’re well man and thank you for watching!
Dang bro. That is going to be a sweet episode.
This one gonna be a good one! I’m sad it’s sold already 😂 I don’t even get to hang it in my house!😂🤦🏻♂️

All good homie! I’m doing one soon here with your logo you made me- so peep that one for sure;)
Show me some of your aluminum work!
Love it!! Question for ya though.. what pulse settings are you at doing this?? Very cool. I’ve been wanting to try an art piece myself lately
I’m not using pulse actually! I do a foot pump with the pedal. Each dab is literally sized by me as I go:) I basically set the machine to 80amps and off I go:) 🍻
Thats cool as hell, im not anywhere in that level of welding
Are you doing the color gradient with the footpedal? 2 hour beginner here
10 year MIG here, why no physical texture on the head?
Yep💪 Quick bumps for golds, longer ones get me some wilder colo🌈
Looks awsesome. Holy sh....🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
How much for a dragon one like this and shipment to UK this is unbelievable work, would just like the metal finish type 👌
Damb bro that was another sweet one keep slayin em
Sick piece, man! I havent tried painting my plates yet just the frames. I was wondering how you mounted studs to the plate? Did you tack it or glue it?
I want this! How much does it cost?
Dang !!!! Dusty. Your eyes must be so tired. Tons of focusing. Amazing job!!
fantastic video, is that a sharpened tungsten electrode you use as engraving tool.....your art is right on...as a Chinese Fire Dragon Birth Sign, I say Outstanding
Thanks so much! It’s actually a diamond carbide bit. Lasts decently long!
Hey man just wondering how much did u pay for your weld machine if u don’t mine me asking
Impressive
That is bad ass
The weave made great scales but i think adding 3 dimensional head and claws coming out toward you would make this pop
Steel tattooing!😊👍
Bro soooo sick ....goddam
Thank you bro! Thanks for checking it out!
Stunning piece my friend 👌🔥
10-12 hours? Wow nice. So this would go for 1200$ bucks easily on open market?
Bro how can you do back to back passes on that piece without overheating the piece??.?
I am new to tig welding I am left handed what hand should I hold the torch in.
Probably your left to start but they say to train yourself with both just incase you come across a need to switch for a wierd position
I thought you were going to go with a heavier 3d effect by using more/different rods on parts you'd want to stand out like the claws and head.
очень круто! Новокузнецк смотрит!!!
wow I can only imagine how many welding shops could comission an artwork like this to encourage their welders..ps I am not a welder
i liked it without the paint - amazing work
where can I fine finished pieces for sale?
I would be so tempted to make Trogdor the burninator. That's how much of an artist I am
Superbe bravo 👍👌💪❤️
Thanks!
Is that stainless?
Artist indeed.............
Thanks!🙏🍻
First time I watched this and after the welding you said it was time for the paint. I thought WTF the welding itself had beautiful color why paint over that.
Привет, подскажи размеры пластины
Do a armadillo!!

Very nice work. Nothing but the socks to criticise here...
😂😂😂
This looks amazing but just to warn you that you might want to put an epileptic warning in the beginning of your video
Did you ever do any tattoo work.?
That would hurt!
Craig .Only for the ones with a man card. No He's got a lot of tattoos. That artwork tattoo inspired And the way he lays his beads on the artwork. I think he can tat.
you should do Trodgor
ik this video is old but how are you putting your hand on that without burning yourself, and why filler sometimes and no filler other times but it looks the same
WOW🙏👀🇨🇦
😯😯😯
Now do a 3D dragon!
I'd love to see something like this done on a car.
5/10
Nice welds but not your best work
A great video spoilt by bloody awful music !
