Wouldn’t a modified 6.5 gm be the way to go if you’re in the back country a lot. It belongs in there and saves a lot of customization. If you’re spending lots of money then any model Dmax is the way
Couple reasons. Extremely high failure rate. Most all 6.5td last no more than 100k miles before #8 cylinder failure. The pmd is a consistent failure point leaving you stranded. Fuel economy is low at about 12mpg. Performance is inline with a Yugo. That's to name a few. The cummins is literally a million mile motor. Hp and torque are about 3x better then the weak 6.5. Value added conversion. Plus the allison 6speed isn't even on the same level as a 4L80. Again, just to name a few reasons. Thanks for watching!
Please post pics of it. We have seen people mistake our builds with other people's because of our accessories on the truck they assume it's ours when it's not. With only a small handful of cummins we have built I know we will recognize the truck if it's ours. What we're the problems?
I love my Predetor Cummins swap! In the second half of this video is mine - ua-cam.com/video/s2qqnnGzg4E/v-deo.html. These guys do great work! Absolutely love it. Drives great! Brent Allen - pics or link or it didn't happen.... just sayin...
Most of our customers are hard working people. Some are very well off but most are not. Some are very reasonable and still priced inline with a pickup truck.
It's a great engine but underpowered for our trucks. A few have been done. They would definitely fix the longevity issue with the 6.5td but power is somewhat low.
@@PredatorInc I’m sure you could do power upgrades like with that 6bt since that isn’t stock. Probably wouldn’t have 1000tq but should be enough and would have a lot more room to work with.
Partially true. The cost to do the cummins conversion correctly is close to six figures and almost 3x the cost of a duramax conversion. So yes, we can do it but it doesn't make financial sense. This one was built many years ago.
@@jake66 do it your self fella...way cheaper than these chuckleheads...I'm only into mine for about 22K so far, and don't expect to be more than 30K by the time it's done.. 👍
Ryan is nice but I don’t like that engine duramax is the best ah I go good comments for you new all over there not other vehicle more American than the humvee is on front this American magazine jalpnik 5 hours ago which is good news for predactor in I believe and that truck is good price thanks men bless 😅
I LOVE EVRYTHING!!!!!! THAT IS ONE BADASS BUILD!!!! THE PERFECT FAMILY HAULER!!!!

You should build something like this but with a helmet top
Why change? the 6.5L Turbodiesel are great in it's own way

Do those Cummins conversions have the dreaded DEF?
Some do but this one is pre def.
🇺🇸💪I want one
I would love to add what the HMMWV should have had a 7.3 idi
damn bad azz
Built 48re with anteater controller over the Allison any day
159? You mean $15,900 lol 😆 that would be great!
Yeah sure. Less than a dodge Dakota.
Nice truck! Got to love you guys presentations and very detailed walk throughs. I’ll definitely be reaching out to you guys when I ready get my H1.
Thanks so much and thanks for watching!
I work on one of your first Cummins swaps. The install job is subpar for the price. I'm sure you're better at it now but lots of little issues.

I always wanted a nice HMMWV or a H1 guess those are only for rich folks. Are these thing so expensive just because of the custom work or what?

I wonder how the cummins 4bt/4bta would fair in the hummer

I have a h1 wagon with a cummins! I'll definitely sell it for 159k also!
Nice! Does it have the allison 6speed?

THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I would have bought right then and there, but if it cant pass smog test that sucks.
Just in California, it can be registered in another state with no issues
I called last week and was told by your secretary you no longer do the Cummins swaps?
