I had the exact problem with mine and the stock plastic wing buttons. They're too soft and the wing came right off my first time at the track. Other than that it's been a solid car. Real easy to drive and forgiving. Only thing I've broken have been some bent shock shafts. Glad you're liking it. Keep an eye on the center rear dogbone. The pins wear out quick because of the angle of the rear gearbox.
Got cha! Thanks for the heads up! The car is really easy to drive. I'm actually putting the new ceramic bearing in my engine now so I'll be going out and doing some more practice/testing this weekend. I'll talk more on the set up that I'm running on the car. Get a few bugs worked out then I'll be racing in about 2 weeks. But yea I'm really loving the car so far. I'll have some new wing buttons also
@@fastmoversrctv3961 awesome, good luck with the first race. I switched from a Tekno and haven't looked back since the Sworkz is easier to drive and more consistent for me.
Appreciate your running videos and commentary. Would be interested to hear more about c-hub vs. pivot-ball after more runs. I've heard good things about Sworkz. They look solid.
Thanks alot man! I'm glad you appreciate them! And yes that's definitely a good idea! When I get a lil more run time on the pivot balls, I'll do a video on the comparison.
Awesome. Hope you do better with pivot ball then I did... I just switched back to c hub and first race out got the W. I look forward to the next chapter bro!
I think you will continue to like pivot ball over C-Hub in the long run! Be sure to checkout JQs vid on pivot ball vs. C-Hub. Great info and breakdown! 💯🏁🤙🏾
Yea I think it definitely suits my driving style. And yes I've watched it and it's definitely a great video! All his videos are great. His has all the knowledge you need for these cars for sure!
I started with a sworkz last year i loved it, local support and supply was not good :( the world's edition would be nice to try, did you break the clutch in "bed it in"
Na I haven't done any research as far as bodies I'm just sticking to the stock one for now. LFR may have a body for the car. I'll have to check on dat. They make really good bodies that last a long time.
