Bro thybulle is a terror on defense. He's gonna be all defense plenty of years . Just think Andre Roberson type defense but more skilled on offense
FBI Agent Right. He’s Andre Roberson but even better on defence.
He can shoot
Thybulle has legit Scottie Pippin / Kawhi level instincts on defense. He's one of the best defensive rookies I have ever seen
I'm not sure if he can be as good as kawhi on offense though. Defensively he can be just as good or even better than kawhi but he has a long way to go offensively. And p.s. it's okay keep stating your opinion regardless if you're a girl. Just make sure you know your stuff
Prince was a beast back in the good days of basketball
Alabaster back when everybody didnt shoot 3’s
Matisse is a heavily slept on steal for philly 🔒🔒
I see it to and as a sixer fan I can’t wait to watch his defense this season
Hassan Haulcy Sixers will be the best defensive team in the NBA this season. They had all good defensive guys and complete from1-5.
"They don't pay players to play defense."
- Jabari Parker, 2018.
one of my favorite players through the acl tears, bt wen he said this i hopped off his bandwagon
Rudy Gobert biggest example. Patrick Beverly?
Marcus Smart?
76ers are gonna be the best defensive team the league has seen in years. Horford, Embiid, Simmons, Richardson, Thybulle, Mike Scott...it’s gonna be ridiculous.
Don't forget about the Clippers!!! They have Paul George and kawhi on the same team
Top 5 defensive teams will be
1) 76ers
2) clippers
3) Pacers
4) Lakers
5) Bucks
@@pinbarbecue1100 and beverly
@@brandonthomas4838 pelicans might take the place of the lakers. Lakers is very dependent on effort in regular season
Right! Im hoping for a Sixers and Clippers finals hopefully everyone stays healthy
Matisse Thybulle is amazing to watch
He looks very pure, hardworking and honest just like Mr. Prince.
Wat a coincidence they both wear the number #22
He’s what it looks like when you upgrade to a 85 on MyCareer
I told my bro before the draft that this kid is already a legit threat for DPOY next season. Love this guy.
This Thybulle is giving me hella problems in myCareer. Down 3-1 to Philly in conference finals..dude doesn’t miss.
Tayshaun Prince held LeBum to 1-9 shooting in the 2nd half of Game 7 against the 2006 Pistons in the ECF. He delayed his trip from meeting Wade in a playoff series.
Did you make an account just to hate on Lebron?🤔
I really like Thybulle but will have to wait to see if he was the better pickup than Carsen Edwards. We already have great defensive pieces, shooting wouldn’t hurt. But aye either way no matter who’s better he’ll be a good pickup
Matisse gonna be a beast! Love defensive players!
0:38 No u haven't paul there has been no rookie who has averaged more than 20 points except zion Skip just said that on his show🤦♂️
I misss tayshaun!!! The Palace prince!!
I miss the palace
76ers has ridiculous size in their starting 5 and terrific defensive options - Horford and Embiid both guard the rim greatly, Horford can guard Giannis and other hybrid PF's who are speedy, Harris has a great size for SF as he's originally playing PF, he'll be a big body at SF. Richardson at SG and Simmons at PG are good defenders and have excellent sizes... If that's not enough they have Thybulle to guard 1-2-3 of the opponents, he's a pest. Defensively 76ers will be unparalleled. LAC with their fully healthy line-up will be an amazing match-up defensively if they meet in the finals..
Something Paul!!!! Something. confidence builders.
By the way coby is gonna be good don’t under rate him, he could be a top 3 rookie this year
How many point guards to the Bulls need?
Amin! You're all that's left man. Where did everyone go? ESPN had the best basketball analysts in the world. And they let so many go. Keep on going Amin
Amin: 29 points? It’s preseason it don’t matter
Also Amin: 3 steals in the preseason?! Everything.
Paul Pierce is the one who said it doesn't matter
Amin said the 29 points was something because the Bulls play well when he is on the floor. If you are going to attribute something to someone at least attribute the proper quote in a 3 minute video.
Stop cryin', 15th men all over the league scored 29+ points in different pre-season games this year.
Man white was a monster at UNC!! He’s gonna continue to shine if they give him some playing time!
He’s the next Andre iguodala
nor really. Iggy was much more well rounded. They used to call him lebronlite. I think tashawn is the best comparison.
Matisse got good offense too he a special rookie
As a Celtics fan... You have no idea how disappointed I was when I heard we were trading him right after we drafted him. -_-
I love when the sixers disappoint celtic fans
This is your price to pay for ripping the Sixers on that Fultz trade.
As a Sixers fan... you have no idea how disappointed I was when last year they traded their 10th pick, Mikal Bridges, during the draft. But, after being able to get a steal of a trade in Matisse Thybulle from this years draft, everything is forgiven ;)
u guys still got edwards for it. Him and thybulle should be great players
we got a first round and carsen. people should absolutely be ok w/ that trade from both sides
College defense doesn't always translate into NBA defense at all. Malcolm Brogdon was also defensive player of the year in college, now in the NBA he's a decent defender but by no means a lockdown defender. James Harden was also a good defender in college. Last year's DPOY winner for college basketball, Jevon Carter can barely find a place on an NBA team. There's great number of centers and power forwards who were defensive stars in college, and proceeded to be average defenders in the NBA.
Hustle, defense, and rebounding always translate to the next level
If Philly didnt trade Bridges last season they could've been much better season!
*Matisse giving me Kawhi vibez*
Everybody's better than you dude.
Definitely thought this was Jason Kidd's son
Marcus his kid has a huge head
So from the Sixers-Celtics trade on draft day, the Celtics got Carsen Edwards and the Sixers got Matisse Thybulle. I'm not saying that one of them is better than the other, but you can't tell me that both teams aren't happy with their picks.
Haha that title is such clickbait I was about to go off 😂
all pre-season games are just so so... dont be hype, unless the coach gives any rookie the amount of playing time, then that player will come through...
take carsen edwards, he needs to battle kemba as point guard.. without kemba, i think he will flourish..
was that carson edwards shade? that boy got a burner.
Go dawgs!
1:27 you’re welcome
Amazing
It’s UDUB Rachel!
That Bulls player looks high all the time
What's scary to realize is that 2019 draft class might be the deepest draft in the 21st century. (2003 draft, other than Lebron, Melo, Wade and Bosh who else? Hinrich?)
It's only been the preseason bud, let's see how the regular season go
The great Darko Milicic!
@@HereToTroll Blame Larry Brown don't blame Darko, Brown destroyed the guy's career
Dude... barbosa, josh howard, david west, boris diaw, kyoe korver and more. 2003 was loaded.
96 was better and 2008 was great too
harden was a great defender in college so...
good not great. Russ was the great defender.
"U-Dub-U" University of Washington University.
More Raja Bell.
embiid = ben wallace
horford = rasheed
matisse = prince
j-rich = rip hamilton
LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!
There is basically no similarities of those players and Detroit team from early 2000's except both teams being good defensively on paper, dunno what this even means.
It's fucking preseason
Let all hyped rooks do this 82 games in a row for 2-3 yrs.
We'll see how good they're then.
Glad we traded off with Boston in a sense of what happened with markelle. Tatum woulda faired well in a sixers uni and while I like carsen, this kid is a DOG. Makes me less pessimistic about our second unit
I love pierce but he's always so negative
I thought i needed a haircut
Stop disrespecting the prince horrible comparison
Wat yall know bout those detroit boyz
Didnt Paul Pierce get fired
how u sound?
CPGoat #3 wdym
That why love defensive players cause you can teach offense and always Dogs. Offensive players rarely can have them be great defensive players just look James Harden gives up defense. Defensive players have team mentality over me.
weird flex but ok
Now if Zion were to do this they would say next LeBron the goat
just like ur argument of having a better career than whoever its nothing paul.
They’re both light skin.
If Thybulle was on a small market team or even a mid market team, he wouldn’t be getting nearly as much recognition lol smh
That's obvious because small market teams in general don't get as much as attention. Thybulle is a terror on defense. Future dpoy potentially
And?
So the bulls guard plays means nothing bcuz it's "preseason", but Thybull (who I think is a nice player" means everything lol? I guess 🤷🏾♂️
Victor Thompson he did that in one game thybull has been consistent
@@devinharris591 Uh, Coby avdg 19 ppg while shooting 46% from the field. 47% from 3. Is that not consistent? It's preseason anyway smh
Defense skill always transfers offense doesn't
Did you guys not hear that part?
@@dabuilder-7544 You know how many guys get drafted based on offensive skill lol??? I'm sure Trey Young was picked that high bcuz he had potential lol
Man, that Zenni Optical logo on the Chicago Bulls jerseys is big and ugly! It's only a matter of time before more sponsorships and ads are added to NBA jerseys and shorts...
Who Ben Simmons?
doesnt know destinys child? come on man. definitely not TLC hahah
Thybulle is good but he's not tayshaun good
Paul sounds like a hater.
He cant say that.
Only fans and analysts can.

110rd comment 🍉🏀
First
he ain't even close to tayshaun
Paul pierce is horrible
About Coby White Pierce dismisses it as "just preseason" , but about Thybulle Pierce talks about his college accomplishments and they review his Preseason stats like it did matter. Hey JUMP hypocrites, you can't have it both ways. If it is "just preseason" for Coby White then it is "just preseason" for Thybulle as well. And discussing Thybulle's college accomplishments while dismissing what White did in an NBA preseason game against NBA pros/starters is just total bullshit.
Pierce needed to go last year, besides saying never saying anything of merit, he also makes it all about himself most times. The Jump is like The View for the NBA, gossiping morons talking bullshit.
P.S. Rachel, it's the NBA not World News Tonight, okay? So drop the serious "nightly news" anchor act, you're covering basketball not wars and politics.
Who give this indian guy a job to talk about nba?
Boycott the NBA now!!
Matisse Thybulle is nothing. Sixers missed out on Jayson Tatum and Carsen Edwards in recent years who is better Markelle Fultz too
Bearboy 2.0 Carson Edwards? How have the sixers missed out on him? Matisse was a great pick
Lol if you say so.
Um, the Sixers picked Matisse in the first round. The Celtics picked Edwards in the second round. Not sure how they missed on Edwards? The Sixers valued the best defender by far in college over Edwards, who is strictly an offensive player. There is a reason Edwards went in the second round. I'm not saying he wont be a good player, he may. It's much harder to teach a guy to play defense at the NBA level if he didn't do it in college. But Thybulle has the potential to be a great 3 & D guy. If his offense doesn't come around, he will still be a great defender.
Well see when Matisse clamping Tatum and Edwards on opening night 😎
Can't wait for Thybulle to clamp up Tatum on Wednesday
