a noise gate isnt a de-esser it cuts anything under a certain volume i.e. people talking in the background or white noise if you have a bad mic. a de-esser softens usually where sibilancies or plosives occur not sure if g8 does this but the limiter wouldn't be able to do that not trying to be negative just wanted to inform anyways great video looking forward to what you make in the future
