Hi Jason, loving these reviews. Do you feel this is enough conditioning with 1 day? Totally agree also that the balance of the workout generally looks good. Keep up the good work, it is helping me re-enforce that my programming is on the correct path!
Probably not, but for short stretches (8-12 weeks) it’s okay to bias Hypertrophy. I would however, add more zone 2 work if other days were available for the end user. Thanks for chiming in!
theres really no reason to go over an hour for aerobic conditioning for clients who just want to look good/ feel good. actually most people are good with 30mins of aerobic activity
I wish that were the case (I'd rather lift any day of the week than do cardio), but all studies point to more frequency and a total duration of 180 minutes for advanced folks and 120 minutes beginners per week. There are a few studies that also point up to 3 hours as long as that work is done in Z2 to NOT impair strength & hypertrophy gains. Anecdotally I've seen this to be accurate with my own programs over the last decade (most include 2 hours a week of mixed Z2 work).
Saladino's programs, the ones I've tried, are complete garbage. Garbage in the sense that the No Tred Shred program probably took 10 minutes to write. I could've done it myself. No printable workout sheets, nowhere to track online. Avoid these programs; they're nowhere near worth the money. Go Athlean X if you want a good program spoon-fed to ya.

Great review! But why no rating out of 10 for this one?
Thanks! Nope, no rating just approved or rejected. Keeping it simple

Peter Attia has a great podcast on this topic too. Here's a clip: ua-cam.com/video/z82GCNXdLAA/v-deo.html
