Just like Steve Lav says…. “I’ll try to get you some shots” there were definitely some shots in this video! 🤷♂️👍
Bless the person who designed yoga pants 😁
Can’t imagine living that way for three years. Job well done Mike.
Yes we know what you are talking about. The view was great.
Mike, great troubleshooting discussion 40 minutes in. Getting back to basics and understanding the line diagrams is fundamental to figuring out problems that initially appear to be complex.
Thanks Mikey, I am thoroughly fed, appreciate your care.
A simple repair but you've still made your video entertaining to watch. It's always satisfying to solve a problem that's been hanging around for years.
Yes thank you mikey pipes, man of culture ✊🏼
Thank you! Mikey Pipes, your the man!
Another Fun Night with the Community, Mikey! All good 😊
Yes. Thank you!
Mike sir
I really like your videos
You are a profesionsl
excellent video the camera work was awesome and so was the trouble shooting. Thank you, thank you, thank you, hope you enjoyed the scenery it was such a nice neighborhood.
Thank you Mike Great shots
Mike, you are correct. Some of us are here for the entertainment. I'm retired Navy so I'm nuts too. You feed me the insanity that I lived in for 20 years. :)
Great vid. Interesting and educational. The crazy stuff in the field. There is a lot of knowledge to cover steam, hydronics, radiant and furnaces and central air.
Good troubleshooting video. Very methodical. I answered a call to sell me an extended warrantee. I asked which car they were calling about. He said he needed to verify the car, what is your most driven. I responded with you called me, so you know which one has the warrantee running out. He hung up, WTF, I was ready to buy one for my 2014 GMC Savannah with 190,000 miles on it.
Mikey pipes has truly blessed us with food and sustenance 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🍑
OMG mike you used your arm to testing dogs !😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you. I know what you are talking about!!!
Ah Mikey never change buddy we thank you!
yes thank you !
I've struck this years ago on a railroad high speed train. The only air con control was in the 1st class area. When they were cold the rest of the passengers cooked, and in summer vice versa. They had hostesses on the train who would constantly adjust the temp to try and keep everyone happy...😁
Thanks, Mikey!!!
You definitely made this entertaining!
BTW you have the most informative videos. From fixing to calling tech support
Thank you!!
Great work mikey!!!
Great video as always
Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Great fix 👍👍
That 'your welcome's was definitely awesome. Loved that 😉
Definitely a thumbs up video
Excellent camera work mike.
Hello from the great state of Michigan St Mike you provide great videos
You did it! You stopped at a stop sign! Lol. Great vids Mikey
Great shots...I can see why it's too hot in that house!!! 🔥🔥🔥
You’re the best great content and thanks by the way😂
Oh my, you are a Saint...
@10:12 "Oh Yeah, They Bite!" if I had a nickel for every time I heard that.
This video is very entertaining
I used a toner for low voltage wiring. You should get one to connect to unknown wiring sourcing and you can wave the wand at the opposite end to find your wiring.
Mikey initially I thought maybe they had it wired where there was like a high limit cut off. Some landlords put one in like the hallway in a lock box so that a high limit is set (i.e. not above 80 degrees). The tennant can always turn on their thermostat if the temp was below 75, but once the hallway reached 75, the tennants thermostat didn't work. This way if the tennant did want it colder they could, but they could never exceed a certain temp. Nice job finding the wires one less hole!
Top camera work mikey!! had to thumb up this video on this alone 😂
Nice
Gotta love that venting at 24:55
You the man ! Thanks you made my Day! LOL
Great view Saint Mike have I good weekend
@@PipeDoctor Both please 😁
@@PipeDoctor I meant to say all please
thank you mike, i know what youre talking about ;)
thanks mikey pipes (:
I like the way you handle the guy in the phone 'do you want me to rewire this and fix it? \silence\. 'the answer is yes come on'
The second one...wish I could thank you for that one. But regardless, thank you.
Mikey she seems very cute and has a great personality.
I think she needs the pipe doctor.
Oh yes 🙌 we do 🥳
@@PipeDoctor you too as well hopefully not to many calls for you I’ve had 7😂
Thank you Mikey for the extra. 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the awesome shots have a joyous holiday season Mikey pipes and crew.
Thank you for the yoga pants shots, you Da man
Thank You! 😂
You gave him a time out lol 😂
Hey Mikey that flue pipe on that WH. LQQks like it's just venting into the next room behind that sheetrock. The silver tape around that 6" flue w/4" WH branch just taped into it....it would be terrible if the 2 sisters get overcum with C.O. and about the "Wago's" the customer can see all of your work and what wires you connected....which is a good thing. I have to get some of those
Nothing like the wild world of wire wrangling LOL
I recognize the neighborhood
I think both T-stat wires were connected in parallel in the wire nut mess and the wire you was testing or it may have went to the separate thermostat on the right.
the old wire at newer thermostat could have went to the air handler and they replaced it with the new system. I'm still wondering about the other T-stat up there and assuming it goes to the wire being tested.
you need a toner/tracer set, commonly used in phone/network wire tracing, make sure power is off, hook the toner to wire at one end and use the tracer at the other, anywhere the wires separate it will pickup the tone loudly.
"we didn't want to bother the land lord" I want tennants like her. Unless I was paying for heat. Lol
Hi
You can show us to do steam boiler with hydronic system to the higher floor
Sorry for my English
"Youre Welcome" thanks mike hahaha
Where did you get that diagram for end switches
Awesome to hear the most annoying callers get pissed when Mikey wants to play. Old cars are like old food - classic!
Don't these people know their feet are going to be famous...they need to prepare their feet for the show!
Snatch shots productions ! 😂
What's up with that water heater vent with all the tape?
why are the circs daisy chainded....zones control both??
Mikey you should carry a box of dog treats. My ups, FedEx, US mail person always gives my dog treats when they come to the door
Man, I’m very hungry now 😂😂😂
Peter Pan hustling to get the tools 👍
Hacks bring u stacks!
My warranty has expired so many times On vehicles I haven’t owned it’s crazy lol.
LMAO
Nice job Mikey
😂 Thanks again
That one sister kinda made me sweat 😂and as always , thank you 🤣Excellent T-Stat tutorial #LoveBosch and Let's Go Brandon !!! Thx 👏👍✌
Wow, all those HOT clients/tenants mikey gets to chat with and see.. I'm sad but, happy for St. Mike!
23:44 Nice job and good debugging .and good humor :-) . altough i can't understand why so much wirenests in USA heating installations .. Transformer laying on a box .. wires flying .. wago's/wirenuts .( seems to be normal in USA i seen on many other video's so no blame on you personal ) Here in Belgium/Europe this would be classed as a DIY mess or a lazy plumber/electrician .. A professional installer would put all connections ( wagos ) nicely in a plastic junction box . I know it's 24V so not really a big safety hazard . but would it be 120/240V this would not approve by code here ( wago's need to be in a box )
Mr Pipes with the butt cam, feeding us.
I do not like that first pump, plus no closely spaced T they should have bypass valves with zone valves?
The boiler may run the pumps to be more efficient before boiler cycles.
"BTW, you're welcome, you know what I'm talking about" 🤤
Me thinks the Landlord is a bit distant from his tenants! It would help if he actually knew what happens at his residences. I commend you for your patience. I would have said "here is what I see, you want it repaired or what?" And that's a fact Jack. (that always helps)
By the way your welcome lol. MIKEY!!! 😜
Bigcatmatt I caught that right away. Thanks Mikey getter done that’s right baby hope she don’t watch u tube very nice nicey nice
👍🏻🔧
Thought you said the red and the white was the second floor. Hope you didn’t get it backwards. It might take them another three years to figure out there’s a problem!😝
I thought he said that too
But he tested it multiple times.
I just can't imagine walking around all day with skin tight pants, I would overheat what's goin on there, she knew Mikey Pipes was coming...!!!! ;;)
@@PipeDoctor LOL keep ‘‘em rolling more extras are always appreciated. 👍
good ole American know-how, and some good young Americans
One thing I wouldn't do is wrap that thermostat wire around that hydronic line not a good idea I just did a job for the thermostat line just dry rotted and shorty now the zone valve I removed everything and installed it in mechanical protection
that is a nice app what is the name of it and where did you get it
@@PipeDoctor i mean the app with the wiring diagram
After 20 years I've been open to ideas 💡. Pro press is a proven method of copper piping joints. Nothing wrong with soldering gents but let's get real here. Viega didn't spend millions for a faulty product. Love er or hate er 🙃
20:30 your welcome
STOP = Spin Tires On Pavement
or Soft Touch On Pedal.
Why does the wiring look like absolute hell on all of these systems?
Mikey is nti boiler South Korean
I know what your talking about , but let’s not say. #WELOVEBOSCH
You re piped that house? Why PEX B?
@@PipeDoctor , do you use PEX A exclusively now? Say, for a small repair where the system is PEX B, will you adapt over to PEX A or will you keep the system consistent by using PEX B?
👀
