Yeah sometimes heaps of music can take away from trying to get the experience across to the viewers, I try to have a good balance and usually use tranquil music as well. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
First time i did Maroon was the cave/West ridge circuit. I met up with some randoms in the carpark and we decided to team up. Probably the best hiking day i've ever had i say.
Spontaneous adventures are always the best. It’s an awesome way to go up Maroon and that cave is spectacular. Would be cool to camp out in it for a night.
Looks like you all had an awesome adventure, mate. 👍🏽 Everything is so damn dry, definitely needs some rain up that neck of the woods. Cheers for sharing.
Bill Carroll yeah it definitely was a great day. Yes super dry at the moment, you could see the only green paddocks out in the distance were near the creek where they had been irrigated. Hope we get some decent rain soon.
@@OutdoorHikingTherapy Yes, I noticed those super green parcels of land, they really stood out against the harsh dry earthy patches. Mate I'd send some rain your way from Ballarat if I could. Keep cool and stay hydrated, mate. Take care buddy. 👍🏽
Did the cave for the first time on the weekend, amazing view and great trek up there even if we did take the long way and lose the gps track we were following. Can't wait to go back and do the summit but we'll probably do the tourist track first time up. Definitely one of my favourite hikes to do.
Yeah it's a great spot up there in the cave. I would love to camp out in it for a night sometime, would be beautiful at night I reckon. Losing the track is all part of the adventure isn't it. 🤣 The views from the summit are spectacular, you will love it.
Ben you forgot to mention that is hike is a pain from the cave to the western ridge summit... I did this today and my golly gosh it wasn't easy =).. the western Ridge summit views were unbelievable ..much better than the summit in my opinion.
Yep it’s definitely an off track experience from the caves to the western ridge line. 😊 Not easy, but like you said the views from the western summit are spectacular, it’s definitely my favorite part of Maroon. I have found that Mother Nature doesn’t give up the good spots easily. Always a fair amount of effort to get to these spectacular places, but so worth it.
Thanks for sharing, I appreciate these quiet hiking videos with little or no music.
