- In this TEDx talk, Dr. Meenakshi Chaudhary talks about how she discovered her calling to get into the glamour industry even after excelling in all her other pursuits. She pours in her thoughts of bearing a fighter spirit and a myriad of learnings garnered while pursuing such diverse paths in her life at such a young age, with persistence being pivotal. Meenakshi Chaudhary is an Indian well-known model, actress, and beauty pageant titleholder. She represented the state of Haryana in the year 2018 at the Femina Miss India pageant, where Meenakshi was crowned Miss Grand India. Meenakshi represented India at Miss Grand International in 2018 and was crowned the first runner-up. She is also a state-level swimmer and badminton player. Meenakshi won the title of 'Miss Grand Slam 2018' by Global Beauties, besting 440 national representatives who represented their countries in the five Grand Slam beauty pageants. She is India's first Global Beauties' Miss Grand Slam winner since Lara Dutta, Miss Universe 2000. In May 2019, Chaudhary was voted 2nd place in Times 50 Most Desirable Women of India 2018 in an internet survey conducted by The Times of India. At the Femina Miss India 2019 sub-contest crowning ceremony, she was felicitated by the Miss India Organization for her accomplishments at Miss Grand International. If someone puts in an effort to live their life sincerely and be a good human being come what may; and this in turn gives them a very peaceful night's sleep naturally because their conscience is clear af. Such people usually get ripped apart in this world we live in; but even knowing this, they lift the weight all by themselves and do everything they can to be kind to others. Where's the 'bias', if being a good person is the definition of being 'successful' for that person? Only want to understand what you really meant.

IT IS VERY EASY to ask people to be "PERSISTENT " .My neighbor will b paying 5,00,000 for 10 yrs of her daughter's schooling. We need to talk abt affordable education , healthcare , jobs for Indian middle ,working class women rather than "persistence" .WE NEED GOOD PUBLIC POLICY .
Her Strength Her Courage and Her Beauty is deeply Admired and immensely inspiring.
I wish she give one last shot for Miss Universe pageant as she is truly a Fighter.
