Just turned my 10 year old on to your videos. He won rookie state as an 8 year old, fell just short of going to state last year. He loves studying other wrestlers. Keep it up!
My wrestling coach called that the head and arm. That was my signature move. Whoever went against me knew if they were in that move they were done I am surprise this got this many likes
Same here I loved that move it got me to state and toc in my third year of wrestling which was also when I made my own style for wrestling which my style was basically just that “ random stuff go” meme and I’d start from bottom position
I work in a psych hospital mostly on a adolescent unit sometimes kids every once in awhile adults. We do have to go Hands-On from time to time and once there was no one else around and a dide came at me and I took half a second to think how can I get this guy to the ground the fastest and the safest for both me and him and not hurt him at all. Hit the head and arm a secretary saw what happened and called for help when everyone came it was just me and the kid on the ground. And my charge nurse is yelling get your arm off his neck and I was like it's not on his neck and he goes yeah but on camera it looks like it is so I moved my hand. But yeah against somebody with no wrestling training they had and arm will work every time. Thank you to my wrestling coaches who made me drill this move a thousand times.
Random story I wrestled a guy once who was a really good wrestler. However he was a bit stubby and small for the weight class. So he basically just dominated me the whole time but couldn’t pin me because he wasn’t strong enough.
That’s my favorite move you can get 2 points for the takedown and 3 or 4 points for near fall I forgot how many points you get for a near fall since I haven’t been able to wrestle in 2 years due to surgery but that’s 5 or 6 points or you could even pin them instead of near fall and just win the match
@@sadcowboysfan2114 oh alright thanks for reminding me I wrestled for three years but I had a major surgery so I can’t wrestle for another 2 years and haven’t wrestled in 2 years

I appreciate it!
" The force is strong with this one!" " But Luke, I AM your wrestling coach! "
Haha
head n arm was tha only reason i was undefeated 7-8th grade😂😂
I went to Junior high state with a head and arm and a half Nelson. That was pretty much it
We call it the cowboy but it’s so easy to counter if you know what your doing
I had a wrestling practice yesterday that I was unusually tired at. I got home turned out I had a fever of 102 very uncool

It’s a really shitty amateur move

@@philiplombard3405 it works for experienced wrestlers too
@@philiplombard3405 it is if you’re too straightforward with it, you can hit it on better guys just requires you to be more fluid and less predictable
@@philiplombard3405 not if you set it up and hit it quickly 🤷🏼♂️

Cheese move🧀 (works on squids tho🤷🏼♂️)
So true 🥲
So fax
Most times my coach just yells “if your gonna hit it send him!” If I’m in the position.
I wasn’t strong enough so my couch told me to never throw again
We called it a head toss. And this was the only reason I went undefeated 8th grade
throw head toss hip toss and many more
Head lock for me lol
I call it a head lock and i use it a lot as a hwt
This is so random but I just got done finishing wrestling practice and we learned this exact move
My coach calls it something else that I forgot.
My coach calls it a head and arm it hurts when someone does it to you

For near fall 3 seconds is 2 points and five seconds is 3 points

that's a cowboy
My coaches always hated that I did that and even more that it always worked
So easy to counter when done poorly
