Really nice review, nicely done. Technical data is nice, but you give a perfect glimpse into what the wheel can actually do (and more!). I'm really curious about how the Hero rides compared to the S20, since it's about the same weight and tire size. Did you guys feel a difference, and if so, how?
@@MikeMPharmaCyclist I’ve been riding for years but I’ve not upgraded since my 18XL. I have a pre-order in place for the s20 but if I get impatient I might pick one of these up
Wouldn't it be cool if EUCs could climb stairs on their own? I mean they have the grip and power to do it. All we need is a propper functionality in the software. You extend the trolley, push a button and the wheel slowly moves forward when you lean it forward. When you push it against the steps, the tire has enough bite to lift it.
My begode rs ht does climb stairs no problem when i push it lightly. Or what did you mean if not that? Problem with the stairs in the vid is that they're steel. Steel + rubber is slippery.
Its ok to put more air in a suspension above your desired psi because when you take out the pump it will release a lot of air so if you want 250 psi better to pump it up to 270-280

Kelly, curiosity question for you and Mike Leahy. Watching AGT Extreme and they just showed the Cage of Death. Do you think it’s possible for someone to ride an EUC in the Cage of Death?
I wouldn’t say one wheel is easier to jump than another. The hero has the same motor as the Rs torque. So if you like accelerating hard up takeoffs, the hero has the torque. I like the feel of the stock s20 suspension better but both of them are upgradable.
I've seen lots of people who've ridden both that prefer the Hero, just look around UA-cam a bit there's a few comparisons and that's where I'm getting this info. I own a Hero c38 and really enjoy it but I have not ridden an S20.
Tons of early impressions of people liking the Hero better, even the suspension. Hero has: more torque, better display, smoother suspension (if less travel), far better quality kickstand (metal bracket with rubber dampers vs thin plastic garbage on S20.. broken on almost every demo unit I've seen), arguably better build quality.. at least way less plasticky/stuck on parts, and isn't nearly as wide. Although the S20 is 126V, you wouldn't know that based on the torque it puts out. Electric Dreams says they limited the current output of the S20 for the first 30 feet (don't remember exact distance) so the mosfets don't blow... this may be why acceleration feels relatively weak. Anyway, to summarize the S20 hasn't lived up to all of the hype.
@@MikeMPharmaCyclist by the way, I would like to ask you a question. I'm going to buy a new Euc for the summer time. If you would buy a second Euc, and needs to be something reliable for the next year or two, each one would you chose? I only ride in the city, NYC, and I'm 210lbs. Thanks
@@MikeMPharmaCyclist besides all the great points you listed, the hero is immediately available, and the range on the s20 doesn't seem to be anywhere close to living up to its initial claimed range. I canceled my s20 order the other day and ordered the Hero. It will be here in a few days.
I’m a lot like mike on preferring Hard tail until you NEED the suspension. For $3250, I’d rather buy a sherman but if the hero were on sale for $2600 🤔 I’d own for sure.
Love the content, keep it up! Constructive criticism- the audio (music) is a little too loud and audio a little hot at times. Still love the video! Thanks for making content.
Sick flow brooooo That was a solid lil ride, it’s looking like for road riding, just a lil bit of suspension goes a long way A lot of suspension is definitely needed up in the mtns Get the Eagle to demo soon!! Ride on
@@LemonySnicket-EUC all the people who have already drove this wheel has talked about the beauty and strength of suspension, you see those guys doing 12-15 feet jumps, jumping off of tables, doing amazing things … and it’s adjustable The only potential neutral thing I’ve heard is that if you weight over 220lbs it won’t work as well… that’s it People are so not focused on suspension but that means those people don’t care about the beauty of this wheel. It’s amazing man trust me but if you have a hard time trusting, go check out all the reviews
@@LemonySnicket-EUC I’m talking about the Eagle btw lol The hero is cool though, looks like a slightly Cushy RS torque .. and that’s cool I dig it , depends on what your shopping for
Depends on if you get a C38 or C30 version... torque or speed. Torque is around 35-40 mph more of an off road wheel where speed should be closer to 45 mph plus.
The hero is so ugly and it doesn't impress me in any other way. But at least the tai light is good looking. And about editing, for good audio you want to have clips with voice the same level of volume as the music. So when it comes to listing from my perspective the train isn't loud with volume up but the music is.
Awesome footage, thank you! Having ridden both now, what would you rather continue to ride, Hero or KS S20? :-)
We're living in an amazing time.
You two can make any wheel look good!
What a pretty smile. God I can't wait for my V12HT to arrive next week. First wheel. Cheers to you and Lahey from Alberta, Canada.

great video, love all the b-roll and insights
First time checking out your UA-cam Channel, now this is great stuff!! Two thumbs up!
Looks like a fun wheel! Definitely an S18 killer, but S20 is here for the crown. Gonna be a good year for EUC’s.
Just watch. The Master will take the crown.
Nice Helmet Mike Lehey!
For those asking about her helmet, there is a closeup at 6:22. It is clearly a Steelbird Air
Automatic like. Don't even have to watch.... BUT I WILL. 😍
Mike is a monster.
*Pretty sci-fi lookin to the casual observer*

Great video and test of the hero
Yay more videos Ike this pleaseeeee
Amazing looking wheel imo
I have one, it is indeed becoming a fast favorite! Highly recommended based on maybe 40 miles of riding, amazing feel

damn! that stairs tho😱 ain’t that the same stairs Sheridan Miller hit with his S18?
You look more comfortable in riding the Hero compare to S20.
The height of the s20 makes me nervous, although I like the larger tire. Just lime several other comments I wonder which is better?
thank you for sharing. E-NJOY your E-MOTION and have a safe ride
And shibby is nice af
What up y’all…. Try using the groove to the right of the stairs to roll the wheel up.

Why do people hate on this wheel?
Begode should have sent you this wheel months ago and they would’ve sold!
