I have been looking at both of the adapters. After watch this video, I decided on the ORD doubler. I have only received quality components from them. ORD for the win.
Wow. Thats a small contact area for that big ole 205 to be hanging from. I’m building a square Cummins rig with a 24 valve. Would love to chat sometime
It's funny.....I had looked at that doubler setup for my own truck. Don't really need it for my use, but would be cool to have. And seeing how many holes there in the various pieces for "clocking" just made me think it was just going to be a weak setup and fail/crack. Saving to maybe do the ORD one down the road.
You really don't need a doubler when you have that diesel torque. A doubler is for smaller engines like in a Tacoma.. so that it can give you lower gears for that low power engine. When you combine a high torque engine with a doubler, you really have to baby it and be careful when you use it. Because you're taking that high torque and multiplying it and it loves to shear shafts when you have big tires fighting back.. If you want to make it bullet proof, removing the doubler is not a bad idea.

The whole truck feels more solid and planted now.

It would be a good idea 4 U 2 make the subtitles YELLOW so we dont lose them in the background.
Never finished 😂. What's your oil filler delete called? Thx 😌
Never finished.
I don’t think that thing is supposed to move at all lol. That was an alarming amount of play
Yea it was bad. I did warn you lol
You also lost a bolt on your transfer case support bracket that extends off the bellhousing. Also there's a loose bolt on your new adapter.
Yup. There are quite a few lol
Your missing the front bolt on your 205 to engine mount rod but guessing you know that?.
3 speed Atlas and done..........
Why not a magnum?
No need for low gears and the doubler really only acts as an adapter
